larpi: I just saw the new Dragonball z movie Dragonball Evolution -- Dont watch it. Its horrid. It has absolutely nothing to do with the series at all. Its about a completely annoying super nerdy Goku in high school who meets up with a girl who just so happens to make a hand held machine that can find the 7 dragonballs hidden throughout the whole world and they always happen to be 5 feet away from wherever they are. Also there was a stupid lovey dovey tacky ending that did not need to be in there. Thats not to mention that most of the characters in the movie have nothing to do with the show while those characters are all absent. This movie was a predictible mess that should have never been made along with Footloose I hate that movie and its stupid plot.

However, my wife got me to watch, Four Feathers.......... Terrible movie and total waste of time
And then my daughter had me watch, Soccer Dog.............. Absolutely HORRIBLE. For any parents out there, please don't let your child talk you into watching this flick.

Ummm it did someone have to deal with the anime. Bulma did have a dragonball locator in the show. She even had it on namek. Also the movie is Dragonball not Dragonballz so it is suppose to be about when goku was a kid. He wasn't in school in the anime but then again like most movie adaptations of things they don't stick to everything because it would make it way too long. There was more then a few characters from the show in the movie. Goku, Bulma, Gohan (Goku's grandpa), Master Roshi, Yamcha, and piccolo just to name the ones from the top of my head. Yea the lovey dovey ending didn't have to be in there but oh well. Oh and just throwing this out there I heard they are thinking of making a seaqul.

Also, The Adventures of Pluto Nash. It was the first big Eddie Murphy flop and it's STILL better than Daddy Day-Care.

they tacked the same character names onto people but they werent really the characters or had little to do with them. Everytime they needed to find a dragonball it was 5 ft away- what are the chances of that? Master Roshi was really weird and annoying as hell. Piccolo was hella lame. Goku belonged in the Revenge of the Nerds. Gohan was only in it for 5 minutes.The girl was hot but made the movie into a teenie bopper flick and that should have been against the law to do that. Yamcha just stood there and added absolutley nothing to movie at all. That was pretty much the whole cast haha. I knew it was bad just not up to the level of supreme awfulness that it was.If they make a sequal chances are if is 10 percent as bad as this one was I will rag on that one too. Its still better than Footloose though - for me that is ultimate in stupid movie plots besides that horror movie with a killer Uncle Sam. That movie was horrible.
I agree man, almost all the movies listed here so far have been good-superb.
