I get it now, you don't have to use DC with this new method. And I don't have a scale/haven't looked in to getting one so I can't use paypal btw

Well this new built-in method is for people that are too lazy to go to the Post Office but don't already use Paypal to ship things out. Pretty much for people like you.

I think they need to recheck some of their weights. Just to see how it works, I looked how much it would be to ship a game in my offers queue (Which I already shipped through Paypal). It told me it exceeded the weight for First Class mail. Which is 12 oz. The package I shipped weighed slightly over half an ounce.

Wait - HALF an ounce?  As in 0.5oz?  14g?  I mean, I just sent a DS disk & manual game and it was 1.6oz, there isn't much going to be lighter than that ...

Also, the system assumes a bubble mailer.

I don't have a postage scale, but I've still been using paypal shipping.  6 oz has worked every time.

I really see no reason for this, since paypal shipping is already convenient and cheap.  Especially since paypal is one of the payment options here.

If you have a credit card to pay, you might as well set up a paypal account and do it through that.  If goozex is charging me a service fee from a third party, why wouldn't I just go use that third party?

Anybody have concrete numbers on cost, yet?  How much is their delivery confirmation?  How much is the service fee?

I think this is pretty handy but is Goozex getting a cut of the cost here? If I print the same 1st Class label thru PayPal, it comes out to about $2.24, including delivery confirmation for a 360 game and case. It's over a dollar more with Goozex...?

I like this idea. At least you can save some gas money and hopefully the DC will be cheaper

I don't have a postage scale, but many of the games I ship vary greatly in weight, and I don't trust myself to guess.

Thats why I appreciate this, even though I might not use it all the time.

LOL. Too lazy to go to the Post Office? Read my first post, I said I don't hate the post office and there is a friendly guy that works there. What makes you assume I am lazy? You know what they say about assume...

Flawless Victory.... if the delivery confirmation were cheaper. Still, an awesome implementation.

Whoops, I meant to put:

I was referring to you as the latter.

Checked up on a Wii game I was about to send (6oz). Paypal = $2.20 / Goozex = $3.54
