All right, this is the last I will say on this matter because we've jacked this thread entirely too much, and I've spent way too much time today on it.

samas, the biggest problem here is that you are trying to argue or discuss on a subject that has two fronts, and only have any experience on one of those fronts. Most of the people you are talking to can speak from both sides.

I really don't get this at all. You're misunderstanding my argument here. All I originally said was that I thought the 360 avatars were lame. That's it. I never made blanket statements about the 360 as a system, its games, etc. Just the stinkin' avatars. You've now turned this into something that I can't make an opinion on because I only own a Wii, play those games, and don't have a 360. I have some experience with the 360, but so what? You're saying I can't make an opinion on something because I "know nothing about" it?

In your mind, people can make retarded statements about the Wii that I disagree with because they own one too? Yet I can't disagree with that? I'm horning in on your 360 gaming awesomeness because I said the avatars suck? Which I'm not allowed to do because I don't own a 360...jeesh, I just don't get this man. Like I said, I'm done with this subject and will move on.

I think the point is that you can make an opinion of it, but don't be offended when people call it what it is: an uninformed opinion. Uninformed opinions can easily be misinterpreted as and/or become a bias, a prejudice, etc.

Not the actual character sprite that will be used, but it works as a place holder until I finish more important aspects of the games.  The actual character sprites will probably be one of my last orders of business.

I'm really digging on rpgmaker vx.  I haven't used one since around 2001, so it's a whole relearning process.  The learning curve on this newest version is much easier though, and the only complaint I have about it over earlier incarnations is that there's no physical representation/picture of the characters during battles.  It's also just about impossible (as far as I've found through research and trial and error) to do a side view battle, ala final fantasy, leaving you with that dragon warrior feeling battle.  Not that side views were easy to do before, but it was possible at least.
