The best you can do is wait the 21 days for the trade to timeout.

Rest assured, if you have delivery confirmation, you will get your points.

i'm having the exact same problem. It can be frustrating wating for 21 days to past. Ive sent out 5 games, all of whom were first traders. This happened once before, but it only took up one slot, so it was no big deal. But now all of my slots are filled up by games that im sure have been delieved but haven't been given feedback. When i first joined the site i heard that some traders don't like new people that much, and now i understand why. PLEASE feedback the games ASAP.

I'm having the same problem. I don't care about the points, but I hate having my offer slots filled up by zombies who wont confirm.

Goozex... please do something about this

What do you want them to do about it? Cut down the time you have to leave feedback? I don't see how you can expect a game to reach someone in another country and be tested in two weeks or whatever you want, in fact almost every game so far has taken me at least two weeks to get it.

There's nothing to do other then get self-help patience books.

another country is understandable, but if they live 30 miles from me and it's been 3 weeks, it just begins to get obnoxious

Come on KTrader05, use some creativity.

Here's a very simple proposal. 5 days after shipment confirmation, Goozex can email the receiver with a quick note "Have you received your game yet?", with a link "Yes or No". Click no if you haven't received it yet. 5 days later you'll get another email confirmation if you haven't given feedback. However, if you don't respond at all in 5 days, the slot gets opened up for the sender.

Not only does that seem sort of annoying, but it doesn't help if you're not able to get on Goozex very quickly, or even check your email that often. Just try and play other games while you wait, and if you don't happen to have any other games to play, then just play the funnest game ever invented: the waiting game.

You really don't need to be offering your "life suggestions" to people. This is a problem worth fixing if Goozex is going to grow it's inventory and members.

How is getting an email reminder asking you to add feedback for a game "annoying"? It's much more annoying when people sit on their game and don't participate in the community by providing feedback.

Every community site is going to have people who don't actively participate. A site like this has to have mechanisms to speed things along. Not by punishing these users, but confirming that they are still interested, and if not, then allowing the other active members to work around them.

As it has been said about a thousand times, patience is the key to Goozex. I understand being quite excited and impatient when you first start using Goozex (I should know, it's been less than a year since I joined), but once you start automatically receiving points once you send out games, the feeling of impatience really dies down, and it pretty much goes away once you can have unlimited offer slots.

The reason I felt it would be annoying to have those reminders ever so often is because I have my trading region open to Canada, and getting reminders so often while knowing that the game is going to take a long time to get here is pretty annoying in my opinion. I find it suitable to get the messages when there's only a week left until I'm able to leave feedback. Although I'll admit that I too find it annoying when people don't leave feedback (considering I use DC) I usually know when people are likely to not leave me feedback and when people will. The newer users (sorry to point this out, but this seems to be the more common) that have left no feedback or have always had the system time out the trade are the ones I actually make a countdown for until the 21 days are up. I'm glad when they do leave feedback though, but understand if it's never going to happen.

The 21 days already is a mechanism that speeds things along. It may not be the lightning quick speed you may prefer, but it's better than having people's points and trade slots be tied up forever. Besides, if the users were no longer interested, then they likely are not going to get another game through Goozex. Thanks to the G-team taking away the special offer of 100 points, we're likely to see this happening less often than before.

Sorry for the wall of text, but I guess it's what happens when you haven't typed anything in two days.

Well thank you very much. I'm new here myself and I was not aware of the 21 day time out. I was afraid it was possible to never get my pionts. Luckly he was just new and didn't know he had to give feedback until I sent him a message. Thank you for all the help guys.

Kameleon: when slots are locked up, entire collections of games are unavailable to Goozex members. There's probably close to a thousand games that are being underutilized right now because user's offer slots are tied up by zombie users. I have 4 games on my queue alone that are positioned to be sent out now, but are being delayed by a non-user who isn't writing feedback (I've messaged them twice).

So it really has nothing to do with "patience". It has to do with increasing the available games. Since game supply/selection is still the biggest problem in Goozex, so anything they can do to put more games
available to everyone would be show a noticable difference in getting the games you want out there.

It's just an inefficiency in the system, that I think could be solved without too much difficulty.  If you don't want to receive reminder emails to leave feedback, then they can allow you to turn off these alerts (for users who have a certain ranking). But the feature would be very important for new users. If they don't click on the respond link in the reminder email ("yes i've received it", or "no i havent received it yet") after 3-5 days from the reminder email, then that person's additional offer slot can open up.
