I'm looking to sell a lot of older PS2, Xbox, DS, and PSP games.  Most of them are 100 or 150 points.

It is pointless to goozex these as it's $3-5 dollars to ship (with or without confirmation) and I'm only getting $5 in goozex credits.

I'd like to sell a group of them at once and get 400 or more points and that way it would be worth it.

Is there a way to do such a thing?

Thanks in advance.

No.

How are you shipping?  First class with delivery confirmation, even if you go to the post office and not use paypal shipping, starts at 1.16, plus something like .17 per ounce. Plus .75 for D/C.  I just sent out a full package 360 game at the PO because my printer broke, and it run me a total of 2.43.

Tinsel:

I've tried multiple post offices in my area and they all cost the same.

This is expected as all post offices use the same rates.  The key to getting cheaper rates is to buy postage online from the USPS website or through your Paypal account.  This is referred to as the "electronic rate".

Tinsel:

On USPS.com a priority padded envelope with delivery confirmation is 5.60.

You should be shipping using First Class Parcel; not Priority Mail.  Both are essentially the same service and speed, though First Class Parcel is limited to packages under 13 ounces.

Even if you were shipping Priority Mail, packing materials are provided for free.  The USPS will ship them to you, or you can request them at the counter.  They provide DVD-sized Priority Mail boxes that provide adequate protection at no charge to you.

Tinsel:

Still asking: is there a way to do a bundle?

No, unless you happen to be matched up with the same user for multiple games.  Any other method would allow the buyer to unfairly jump their position in the queue.

r if this is a State or County thing then.

Nope, USPS is a federally run program.  States and Counties do not set USPS policy, the feds do.  First class w/ delivery confirmation is USPS, this info is also in the goozex FAQs etc...  It's how I send all my games.   usually works out to just under $3, and I live in the second most expensive area in the country, Cali (stupid sales tax)

BTW Maskim, if you go to calculate postage, choose Large Envelope and First Class, then go to Add Services, you will see that it does NOT offer Delivery Confirmation.

These places are so messed up.  I just spoke to a supervisor (they are all nasty I swear) and he said that I CAN get DC with FC but it has to be a FC PARCEL and not a FC ENVELOPE.  To get DC with FC it must be under 13 ounces (no problem) but AT LEAST 3/4's of an inch thick.

I asked him if a decently filled bubble envelope would fill that and he said no (and looking at a filled one here I'd have to agree it is not 3/4's of an inch thick).  So I asked him if I had to make the package BIGGER to get it CHEAPER and he said yes.

I'm baffled.  Should I be sticking catalogs and newspapers in with the DVD case to get it sent as a parcel?  It makes no sense...

I take half a page of paper, crumple it into a ball, and shove it in the envelope.  Makes one lump that's well over the 3/4 inch.

Yep, thanks everyone.  Just got told the same thing on their 800 number.

The basic result was that I had her saying yes, it's weird, but just stick some bubble wrap or newspaper in there to get it over the 3/4's of an inch thick.  She seemed slightly confused as well when I mentioned that I had to make it thicker to get it cheaper. =P

Now I know and I'll do that for future packages.

Alright.  That's one problem solved for the day.  Now just... all of them to go. Smile
