Am I the only who loved that new members requested my crappy 100 point games because they were getting a free game? I mean, I doubt anyone would actually PAY for disc-only PC games. Heh.
Well at least the people who have already signed up under me (who have yet to have completed their first trade) will still get me 100 points once/if they do end up completing one. Will this be brought back if Goozex doesn't grow another 300% this year?! hahaAnd will this just go back to the one-month promo's Goozex used to occasionally have, or is it gone for good?I guess it IS good for stopping those multiple account creators and slightly curb a small portion of point inflation.I'll be sitting on my 100 point games for a little while longer probably now, but oh well.
I see this as a good thing because I am an avid 100pt game buyer. with all the new accounts that get their free game it has made it hard for me to get decent games for cheap. ^_^. so is this like gone for good, or like mentioned earlier, will it be a promo every few months? anyhow, good deal!
Hmm this might making get referrals a little harder in the way of getting people you know in real life to try it out.

I'm going to have to say this sounds a bit like a bad move. Before, new users had a way to make sure Goozex wasn't some sort of scam: By recieving a game from the system without having to send one out first. Now, however, users with no knowledge of the site may be wary of being asked to send out a game before even knowing if they'll get anything.
Although, then again, I suppose if you do come to Goozex and poke around, you probably already have heard about it. And likely, new users would visit the forums for tips or to poke around more, likely seeing activity and tips and so forth. Hmm. Not sure if this is good or bad. I guess we'll find out.
