He just knew he was going to destroy all of us.

I got plenty of practice by bearing IWX in Defense of the Ancients for a couple hours beforehand. (Actually, it was 1-1 when we finished, but my goblin suicide squad was quite effective.)

But seriously, thanks for coming guys. Hopefully the nights where get only get people to come out for Uno, Hold'em, and Call of Duty are behind us. It's good to have variety.

Exactly what I was thinking.

EDIT: also I was wondering... how do the points work.  Is there a scoreboard somewhere that shows how many points each team has? If there is can someone please direct me to it?  And how does scoring work? You get points for 1st 2nd or 3rd and some for participation as well? Sorry for all the questions.. Just was wondering.

There will be points for attendence and winning events. Details are going to be determined once we see how the first month went and what's fair (we don't want winning events to be 90% of the total, nor do we want just showing up to be 90%. Going to strike a balance in between).

I was wondering the same as well and I have a suggestion for this.  Take the percentage you want to have.  Let's say 60% for winning and 40% for attendance.  Give out 100 points per event.  So the winner gets 60 points and the remaining 40 points are then divided between all the attendees.

Just my 2 cents...

Cool,  That sounds like a great, fair plan.

I would like to see the top 3 people get points similar to how the winter olympics went as well as the participation points.  Also tainted if you dont have the time to keep track of the results I would be more than happy to help you out with it as I am a stay at home dad therefore I have a lot of spare time during the day.

I believe that they are only keeping track of the winner for the MVP events.

If they were doing 1st, 2nd and 3rd though, it would be easy to just redistribute the percentages.

We keep it to the winner to avoid a team that's more active than the others taking home all the points even though they never win events. You can earn those 2nd and 3rd place points during the Goozlympics.

Yeah, that makes sense.  It would be a big mess if people who do bad get lots of points.  It would work well if there was a ton of participation... Maybe someday.

I'll get out for Halo 3, and super smash bros. (going for MVP number 6 on Halo)
