The meet up was a lot of fun, and everyone was cool as always. Nice to see the turnout we had.
igorponweed, we were by the bar the whole time. I don't know how you could miss us. We were the group of gamers with boxes of stuff to trade and give away. lol
bummer igoponweed, sorry we missed you. Like G-Nitro said, we were either at the bar or at the table literally right in front of the resturant. I will say that one of my beers was in your honor instead of Kevlar51 and Mafafu.

The boxes didn't come out until we moved to the table in the front.
If you had just stood still and listened I'm sure you could have heard G-Nitro explaining his stragedy for being first in line on new games, involving phone alerts, a laptop, and very very fast fingers.
I'd like to know that tequnique! ANyways, when's the next one? Since the last one was back in october, I assume it's every 4 months?

Animallyson made the comment that there were alot of social skills taking place at the meetup, so perhaps the traditional imagine of video game persons was not met (though I excuse myself from this thought) Anyway, it seems like a 3 to 4 month thing, somewhere between While Flint and Arundel. Again, sorry we did not see you, but we will take care of that next time.
It was all my faut for unpreperation, Tiny. You all don't need to do anything more, I just need to get more details next time.
I'm usually easy to pick out. Look for a girl with really ridiculous Chewbacca boots in the winter, or tribbles in her hair, hahah.

Actually, you know what would have been smart? Posting a photo from the last meetup so that anyone new would have known who to look for at this one. We sort of assumed it was mostly the same people-but visuals are always helpful.
Blackcoyote took some pics, so maybe we can get those posted and tagged to help for future recognition. (Try this link for some older meetup threads with pics, and Tengaport started this Goozex flickr group.)
I had a blast and I'm already looking forward to the next one. I learned some very interesting things at the meetup:
- Black Fox Zulu nearly received a massage and has a very famous Goozex brother in law ...
- trades to and from Puerto Rico are flourishing...
- there is the possibility that Zannabianca might be able to make some future meetup appearance...
- The Great BM explained his moniker and I'm greatly relieved of the meaning...
- Animallyson does indeed have her tribbles back and dances a mean west coast swing...
- Tiny is back south and lost his Canadian accent already, but now does a crazy multi-state commute...
- thebob101 is still rockin' and new tunes are in the works...
- G-Nitro doesn't like fruit in his beer and gives out great prizes - thanks for the shirt and sticker!
- MCalvert1 still paints the most prolific and entertaining stories of video gaming history...
- Toymachine12 survived the switch to the dark side, and now I may be the only gamers sans a 360...
- darker is quite the traveler of worldwide gaming expos, and the possibility of another VA bash makes me giddy...
- blackcoyote gave everyone in attendance free life time membership to the executive pool on the penthouse level at Goozex HQ... okay, that may be embellished, but he was wearing his Michael Phelps endorsed Goozex racing swim trunks... well, I can't really confirm if he was really wearing them, but rumor has it that Ninjaj and Chooch weren't in attendance because they were trying their new suits out.
- Mrs. Moose gave the meetup 2 hooves up!!
Our fellow Goozers were missed, but all were toasted and smiled upon with the hoisting of fruity beers (except from G-Nitro who raised his orange-less Blue Moon).
Thanks to everyone that came yesterday -- always a great time! As usual I forgot to take pics until after the game swapping -- so about half the people left. Boo on me...I know. I think about 15 people showed yesterday.
Great to catch up with regulars and meet some new faces. Sadly, no Lurknomore...considering chaning your nickname here to just "nomore"

Also, to cap off my day, I did make it to dancing, but managed to flatten a tire on the way home. The gooz-meet was far superior to a flat tire, I must say.
Geo, that's some high praise. I'll have to try to maintain my level of excellence.
Also, I missed the explaination of The Great BM but I think I've figured it out from his Avatar on CAG. However, being as you felt relief from the explaination, maybe I'm wrong?
