Free Full Downloadable games

Before starting this post, I looked for any thread that put information like this together in one place, and all I found were some divergent threads about particular titles being made available free for download.

I thought that having a single thread to collect them all that the various forumites here at Goozex would have a singular reference for trying to find such items.

What I mean by free download in this case:

1. Full games that are being offered by their publisher or a service for download (so shareware/demos are a no-no)
2. The games are not abandonware, and are being offered to the public legally.
3. Online Flash games do not count
4. The games run on their own, and are not addons to another product

I'll get things started with a few games/links

Check www.liberatedgames.com for a list of these.  Wiki also has several pages dedicated to such lists, such as http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_commercial_games_released_as_freeware
