The Patriot, i thought it was awsome, never seen a historical movie of that magnitude.

i wanna see it more now!

Catastrophic:

I just finished watching Drag Me to Hell. It's hard to judge. It was better than I expected in some ways like having some genuinely scary moments but it also has some pretty lame moments. On the plus side, the lead actress is nice to look at. On the negative side there's lots of weird things going in her mouth (and sorry, that's not one of em)

World Trade Center, it was a good movie, just wished it never happened.

I got the Labrynth for the kids (and myself)...a pretty cute movie and one surprisingly the kids loved. Good stuff.

Ghostbusters.  Great movie, they should give it a cg make-over.

Pandorum. Not bad but not excellent. Wouldn't mind a sequel though with the reviews and its gross I doubt that will ever happen.

The Graduate. Terrible movie. Hoffman's character is annoyingly inept with no redeeming attributes that would allow him to swing the hot mother-daughter combo. Nonsensical plot that has the daughter falling in love with a stalker after one (bad) date and believing that he raped her mom.

I recently watched Battle for Terra.  Has anyone seen this?  I saw it in a redbox, and based on the cover art, thought it was a cheesy old sci-fi movie that I'd never heard of.  I didn't think it would be interesting at all, but my son wanted to see it, so I rented it.  Turns out it was an animated sci-fi movie, that was surprisingly good. Voiced by several great actors, including Danny Glove and Luke Wilson.

I was wondering about this movie. Would my 8 year old boys like it?

I would say yes.  My son is 7 and he really enjoyed it.

GI Joe - it was horrible.

Special effects were great but the story was so over the top stupid though that it was hard to watch. It also had too many of WTF those parts and if you thought about it long enough then you could probably give yourself a serious brainfart like whn Marln Wayans put on his super suit he could literally run through skyscrapers and smash cars with it but he fell to his knees when some barely dude punched him in the stomache. This was the dumbest movie I have seen in a long time. If I had a choice I would rather watch Lifetime tv for an hour than sit through this garbage again.
