Watched Tropic Thunder. It wasn't as funny as I was hoping, but Tom Cruise's character was a riot. Robert Downey Jr. makes honorable mention, his character made me laugh too. The movie basically only gets laughs from well timed cuss words more than actual funny things going on. I almost stopped watching it, but I managed to get all the way through. I'd say a 5 out of 10.

Just watched Chuck and Larry (or whatever the long title is). I really dislike Adam Sandler jokes. So boring and easy to spot in any movie he stars in.

The beginning was stupid. But the middle and up to the end (maybe...) was entertaining.

confessions of a superhero streamed in from netflix via xbox live.  I liked it alot.  a fanatical superman fan that walks up and down Hollywood Blvd. taking pictures w/ people for tips.  His apartment is packed w/ tons of Superman memorablia.  He wears a Superman suit wherever he goes.

Watched "Jumper" last night. It was a bit of a let down. Very short, and a pretty bad story.

I saw Street Kings this weekend.  I thought it was pretty cool and anything with HIgh Laurie in it gets a thumbs up from me.  Kind of predictable though.

I seen that about a month ago. I wasn't impressed at all. In fact, the only I can remember about it is the name and associating it with a bad movie.

Saw Step Brothers on bluray last night.

It was definitely laugh out loud funny (if you're into lewd humor), but the schtick does wear a little thin toward the end of the movie. 

I'll post a proper review to netflix soon...

Tom Cruise "acting a fool" was awesome.Robert Downey Jr was in this? I didn't see him except in the beginning trailer and then at the end of the movie.Honorable mention goes to the  australian black man. :) I did just realize that the beginning trailer had Iron Man and Spiderman about to get it on,monk style.

robert downey is hilarious. watching iron man then this totally threw me off guard.

finished watching spiderman 3. never saw it and went into the expecations that is sucked arse. It wasn't awful. worse of the 3 but not bad.

if your made of sand, do you have a nervous system? Can you even feel pain? why does sandman react in pain. seems kinda weird to me.

Parents (1989)

In this bizarre and very black comedy set in 1950s suburbia, Michael Laemle (Bryan Madorsky) comes to suspect that his conventional parents (Randy Quaid and Mary Beth Hurt) have a little secret which they have kept from him. Nothing too major - - just that they happen to be cannibals. It seems that Dad has been bringing home some extra meat from his place of work, a mortuary. As the lad grows ever more hysterical, he confesses his suspicions to the school psychologist (Sandy Dennis). She ridicules his notions and even comes to the house to show him how foolish he's being. Instead, she becomes an entree in the next family dinner, as Michael's parents attempt to indoctrinate him into their odd lifestyle
