worse comes to worse you could leave a neutral and buy a manual from ebay if they have one available. I had a game that I couldnt get rid of because someone sent it to me with no manual from sayswap (where if you get a game no manual consider yourself lucky for even getting a game at all). I bought it off of ebay and changed ti to full package and traded it off within a few days.
ReLiAnZe: killmak: Et3rn41: Yea, there really needs to be an option for Disc+Case. I don't like PMing people every time to tell them that I said full package, but I don't have the manual. Then stop mislisting your games. If you dont have the manual you need to list your game as disc only. He has the case and wants to send the case there just isn't an option for it you pompous ass. Some users I've traded with mentioned they could care less about the manual. They really do need an option for disc and case.

How is me telling him to list his games properly being a pompous ass? If you dont have a manual for your game you should not be listing it as full package period. If I got a pm from a seller saying they dont have the manual is that okay I would immediately report it to Goozex so that they can deal with the user that is mislisting their games on purpose. I do not need my points tied up with someone that doesnt have full package when I am looking for full pacakage. If someone does not want the manual then they can request disc only. Come on people it is not hard to list games properly, if you dont have the manual list it as disc only!

so you say the system needs fixing and they should allow you to leave negative for sending a game without the manual, but that the system doesn't need another option to have disc+case? wouldn't it be a lot easier to just add that option? I for one could care less if I got a manual or not.

Short answer: No, it wouldn't be easier. The matrix that sorts requests would be exponentially burdened with an additional condition choice, one that is often irrelevant with DO listings available anyways.
damn a negative for a manual you weren't even gonna read?
GUNNM: damn a negative for a manual you weren't even gonna read?
Well, first it's the principal; the seller lied about the game listing, an abuse and offense against not only the buyer but the Goozex community as a whole. Second, lacking a manual kills resale/retrade. Last, I actually enjoy thumbing through game manuals, and I doubt I'm the only one.
+1 for "Case + disc (no manual)* option! i have the this mercs2 game but no booklet :(
That's really all I was trying to say. I'm sure some people do, but I've never even looked at a game manual. I'm more interested in playing the game itself. I certainly don't think sending a game with no manual warrants negative feedback. I also don't see how adding this fourth option would completely bog down the system and destroy the matrix.
I understand you couldn't adjust existing listings, but it would be nice to have the Disc + Case for new listings.
I almost always like to read the manual before playing. Most games show you along the way or have little tutorials, but there are many small, but important tricks you could miss. There's actually times I've read the manual after playing and not knowing you could do certain things. It was a month or so before I knew you could sprint in Call of Duty!!! I thought it was a perk or something.
I know this site is for gamers and not collectors, but being on other sites with collectors, anything less than full package is unacceptable.

It deserves it if it were listed improperly. If they list it as DO, that's fine, but as FP, they just lied, and quite possibly did it to get rid of an otherwise stagnant game.
He wasn't being pompous at all, but even if he were, he has every right to be. If someone cannot grasp the concept of representing their games correctly (It is very clear in the listing options that a disc + case constitutes a disc only, not a full package with an annoying pm to tell someone you lied) then that person should not be allowed to grasp the concept of being allowed to trade games on goozex.
No, Et3rn41 should list them as disc only. If there is no manual, it does not meet the requirements of Full Package. The lack of an option for Disc+Case doesn't excuse that.
Even if it was listed improperly,. it still doesn't warrant a negative. Not under the current system at least. If they're going to change the system to be able to leave negative for receiving Disc+Case when FP was requested, then they could also add an option for Disc+Case only. People who say that the person should receive a negative are wrong.
No, it really should get a negative. Under the current rules it can't, but that doesn't mean it shouldn't.
If I purchase an item and it is represented as something, and when I get it, it isn't what it was represented to be, I get a refund. No matter how minor the difference. If it's missing a manual, or it was listed as new, but it has been opened, I'll get a refund.
Same thing here. No one's saying the manual is the biggest deal in the world, but if you agree to send one and you don't, you're ripping off the buyer. I've gotten my refund from goozex in similar situations too.
People need to list correctly, and deliver upon what they've promised. Plain and simple.
