Thanks. Now to go somewhere with a working printer tomorrow..heh. Not sure about mine, just hooked it up after not using it for like 2 years.

does anyone know how much a disk only game, 2 disk in a regular cd case, wrapped in the goozex paper mailer, would weigh?

Okay I just packaged my first game and I'm ready to ship. However when I went to the mailbox down the street, the bubble mailer did not fit -.-. So do I just put it in any USPS mailbox now? And when do I click the confirm shipped button, when I put it in the mailbox, or some other time? Thanks for the help, and looking forward to trading a lot of games!

I usually confirm shipped as soon as I get the tracking number even if the package doesn't go into the mailbox until the morning.

Hello everyone!!! Im about to ship my first game.  I tried using paypal for shipping...now im not sure if im doing this right but....Ontario - Quebec...will that cost $7???  I would think it would be cheaper???

• regular parcel (service)
• envelope
• 18 x 14 x 2 cm
• 5oz
• total insurance coverage value $40

I did the same thing on my first two trades as well, and took a big hit. For Canada to Canada shipping, there is no need to use parcel service or Paypal shipping. All you need is $1.96 worth of stamps if it's a standard DVD case or smaller in a bubble mailer (2 x $0.98). 5 oz = 141g so you'll be paying $1.96. It will be shipped by lettermail, you just have to put the stamps on, address it and pop it in a mailbox. There's no tracking but the extra money you'll be charged for parcel service doesn't equate to better service, I've found.

If you've already bought the Paypal label, there should be an option to void the label and get a refund.

thanks for the reply that helps...im going to ship my first game now.  Hopefully it doesnt get lost, but from what I heard 98% does get shipped without getting lost...thanks again

Not sure if this was mentioned in the many pages that I'm too lazy to read (plus I'm at work not working) but I noticed that if you enter the actual weight instead of the default you get you can save some change. I'm sure someone already mentioned it.

Quick Question but when i'm sending out games do i have to print a Goozex shipping label? Or can i just go directly to the post office and enter the reciever's address from there?My problem is that i don't have a working printer to print anything.

do it however you want, as long as you get the item to the address specified.  The printout label is just available for convenience but not mandatory to use.
