Don't MEAN to complain. Never was it stated that I didn't WANT to complain.
The line "I don't mean to complain" is what is known as a PHRASE, and a COMMON one at that. I really do not understand the holier than thou smartass responses from people who clearly do not understand the english language even half as well as they act like they do. Try again, numbskulls.
What I want to know is...who felt it necessary to revive this topic after three months? I've since gotten Lego Star Wars after a sizeable wait. My complaint was meant to address the issue of how the prices in points for used games on goozex sometimes lag behind the prices for used games in the retail market quite a bit. This complaint was meant to be like any other helpful criticism for goozex to give them my opinion about what I felt could or should be done to improve their service.
However, the members of the forums took it as a blatant attack against goozex and started trying to attack my intelligence and such as a result, and now after 3 months they continue to do so. This is the very definition of completely ridiculous.
Count the characters, paragraphs, lines, and words in that.
I don't see why I should even bother returning to these forums after an unpleasant and incredibly ridiculous and ignorant experience like this.
For the latest news on Games, Movies, and everything geeky!
Calm down buddy. Is it that time of the month again ?
Man, you guys suck. You already razzed him, why start again 3 months after the fact?
I know some noob revived the dead thread, but it doesn't mean you need to re-throw in your 2 cents of insult.

Hm, didn't even notice this was old to be honest. Hope you're not including me in the bunch, if anything I was messing with Mafafu. This is one of the better forum communities I've even been a part of, it would be sad if you never returned.
*Edit: That, and you shouldn't take anyone seriously here, relax.

I agree with Decrypded
I'm not exactly seeing how my comment was inflammatory, either.
ProTip: Check out www.crushfragdestroy.com for game-related news, reviews and more.
I was more razzing Mafafu than the OP.
Doesn't goozex use Muze or Muse (however you spell it) to have their game database and other such info from

Yes, but what does this have to do with the topic?
wetwillies:Yes, but what does this have to do with the topic?
Absolutely nothing... but I changed the topic didn't I... so... how's you?
Well, I guess if it really wasn't intentional than it's fine.
I didn't mean to get all serious, but I felt like I was being insulted about something that I easily take offense about. I really don't like being insulted, even on the internet, so I did take it a little too close to heart I guess. Still, I live my life under the foundation that just because you can doesn't mean you should, so when I see people making jokes like that which could easily be seriously offensive to someone, it bugs me. I guess this isn't much to get offended by, but I take pride in my writing, so I don't like to be given any flack for it, especially if it's just a post online and it's not like I wrote it for a major publication.
Like that....a run on sentence! Meh, water under the bridge I guess.

Wait, don't all major publications use run-on sentences despite the fact that they should know better because they're writing for a large audience and most audiences are easily susceptible to being persuaded to do what they see and read in mainstream media?
(By the way, not an insult to you, but instead to mainstream media... just in case you're wondering)
I'm sorry if I offended you. I intended to razz (in a friendly manner) the guy who revived the thread and never meant any ill to either you or him.
Glad you finally got your game, though. I have it requested myself.

Those things don't mix well. If you get easily offended by comments on your writing, the internet is the wrong place to be.
The problem with goozex isn't that the points don't reflect retail prices, it's the fact that they try too hard to reflect retail dollar amounts and that people expect them to. That and the fact that the algorithim just plain doesn't work on a lot of games to accurately reflect active supply and demand.
A game could sit on the shelf at $29.99 for 2 years and not sell. It doesn't mean Goozex should apply a 600 point price tag on it. It certainly doesn't mean it's worth $30. It's only worth what people will pay for it and the volume of those people over time.
