well..you don't have to pay for shipping on the games you receive so it cancels out.

In case the OP is still here after all the sarcastic comments and hasn't already jumped ship, just follow some of the suggestions in this thread:

http://www.goozex.com/community/forums/t/329.aspx

That should cut down on your shipping costs.

Yeah, I thought we were about due for another "Goozex is a ripoff" thread. Stick out tongue

For the record, I've never spent more than $3 (including Delivery Confirmation) to ship a game, even to Canada.

Besides, I doubt you'll do any better when you try to sell that 100pt game on Half.com for $1.50 and still have to pay to ship it out.

At first I didn't think being proactive in saving shipping costs would really mean that much, then my tradeout flow increased and I quickly realized just how much you can save. The advice mentioned earlier should definitely be considered.

The bottom line is Goozex isn't for everyone. If you're not happy with it...don't use it.

Use first class mail, the cheapest, and not that expensive, and of course the OPTIONAL Delivery Confirmation for an additional 75 cents. Again it is OPTIONAL, not mandatory, although it is recommended.

To me, sending 100 pt games is a rip off. But half of the problem is my post office.

I live in Canada, and every time I ship something they seem to change the price of things. I tell them to ship stuff through LETTER MAIL, and they insist that it's not a letter, and that it's a small parcel. It's ridiculous. I've spent any where's from $1.92 to $5.50 sending games throughout Canada and the States because the post office can't make up their mind for what to send stuff as, without DC BECAUSE it costs quite a bit more in Canada. I buy bubble mailers at 3 for $1.

I sent a GBA cartridge in the tiniest envelope, and the cartridge was wrapped in a bit of bubble wrap, to Florida, from Nova Scotia (Canada), and they charged me $2.30. Then I sent two Wii games (one of which was brand new and still in shrink wrap), and one 360 game all to the states, and they weighed all of them. If it was under I believe 150 grams, I was required to pay $3.92, and if it was over 150 grams I was required to pay $4.50. The brand new game in the shrink wrap weighed more because of the french instruction manual that was in the package as well was over 150 grams (roughly 170), and the other two ranged from 120-140.  Previous times they have never weighed them. They just make sure they fit through a plastic slot (which they always do) and charge me differently than the times they weighed the games. I (not knowing exactly what's considered what, a letter or small parcel) don't know what is exactly correct, so I just end up paying what they ask me to.

Sorry for my little rant. But being how 100 pt games are technically only worth $5, sending them (to me) is a joke. However, sending a 500-1000 pt game is totally worth it. I say all of this with only having four trades complete, all of which were worth 100 pts, but have switched mannnnny games through SwitchPlanet because I get more value for them there than here. I wish I didn't trade the 100 pt games here, because not only did I feel jipped by the post office, all the members that requested those four 100 pt games were brand new, and never done a single trade. Two of the four members ended up requesting the game, and then after I sent it, NEVER logged into the site again, so I had to wait three weeks to actually get my points, which was irritating.

SO THE MORAL OF MY OPINION. Trading games of low point value anywheres (whether it be Canada or USA) is not worth it at all. Sending 300-1000 point games definitely are though.

Yeah, Canada Post is screwy. In the grand scheme of things, Goozex is worth it, though.
