DeeZaster:

I'd like to clear up the Sacred 2 info.  First its not a 1 time activation, its actually 2, both can be used at once but only ONE machine can be online playing (open and closed net).  There is a webpage that explains how to deactivate and activate online http://www.unlock.sacred2.com/ as well the revoking tool is listed there and available to download.

With the patching now, I've had absolutely no issues with patching.  Everything is smooth and quick and I've had the game since its first release (collectors edition with elite graphics installed) and upgraded with each and every patch when it came out.

Hopefully this helps clear some stuff up.  You also need to add Tomb Raider Underworld & Mirror's Edge (I don't think I saw them listed).

Thanks for the good info and link!  I updated the info under Sacred 2 thanks to you, and also added the following games: Burnout Paradise The Ultimate Box, FIFA Manager 09, Mirror's Edge, and NHL 09.  I don't have time to look up specific info about each of those games atm, but will update it further sometime this week when I get some spare time at work to look these games up.  Also, reclaimyourgame.com doesn't indicate that Tomb Raider Underworld has restrictive DRM that would make it difficult to trade - so I haven't added it yet but I'll look into that game as well this week.

Thanks again.

Np.  I forgot to add a few more and remembered just after I left, you got one of them, that being Burnout and I can confirm its activation online.  Good thing you might want to mention is games that can be deactivated from the shortcut (like with Burnout & Mirror's Edge (add these to revokeable from shortcut btw), in Vista in the Games folder).  Tomb Raider is identical to Fallout 3, I thought you might just want to put it up there.  The Lord of the Rings: Conquest.  This does have online activation and it doesn't have any revoke or link to deactivate.  I assumed through uninstall it would do this but I can't verify that as the game said nothing to me after I uninstalled it (same company as Mercs2)..  If your interested in others, Mount&Blade has online DRM but not securom, instead they are using:

mount&blade.exe
File Type : Exe, Size : 4009984 (03D3000h) Byte(s)
[!] Themida v1.8.2.0 (or newer) detected !

This game can be revoked and activated through the web.  Company: Paradox Interactive.  Full details on their process for manual and auto: http://forums.taleworlds.net/index.php/topic,12982.0.html

Also I believe but can't confirm it 100% yet as my friend is offline but he mentioned Codename Panzers: Cold War had online DRM, Tages/Solidshield.  I'll get back to you on that though.

Thanks for this effort - was concerned about trading for one of these games on Goozex.

We should probably add a mention of two things, just recently come to light:

  • EA released a universal de-authorize tool that game owners can use to de-authorize their PCs before uninstalling, thereby restoring an "activation credit" to the game's "account" - makes it easier to trust fellow Goozex users that the recipient will be able to install it
  • Add Atari's Riddick: Dark Athena to the list, according to this month's PC Gamer - SecuROM, 3-activation limit, non-revocable

I was looking around on the RYG forums and apparently steam released EA's games(including spore) WITHOUT securom. apparently EA decided they don't need 2 forms of DRM to protect their games, and went for the non-invasive form.

I may finally get spore because of this.

Hey I found this site for Bioshock:

www.bioshockunlock.com

Anyone know if it will work to use this site to get bioshock working on an offline computer?
