Hey, I think it would be cool if you could give someone goozex points as a gift.  I have some extra points that I do not need, and I would like to give them to a friend of mine.  So my suggestion here is having an option to give the gift of goozex points.

Anyone else like this idea?

Good intentions, but this would be a huge headache for Goozex. Idiots everywhere would be making fake accounts, transferring everything to a new account, and grabbing a bunch of games from honest traders for free.

yeah, i guess,  but you cant have more than 1 account at the same address anyways so they couldnt keep doing it over and over.   oh well,  it was just a thought.

Unfortunately, that exploit already exists (ip checking/address checking controls can be circumvented).  Unfortunately, while your suggestion is well intended, it would make that kind of exploit easier for the perpetrator and harder to detect by the G-Team and its users.

Also, it enables circumventing the 1 trade credit fee by direct trading.

I doubt we'll see point gifting anytime soon.  Feel free to do a forum search if you would like more information.

I thought it was good... But not Directly sharing your points with others.  Buying a gift card eliminates any fraud that others may try.

Your idea is not dumb, but yes it is still impossible to take some of your left-over points that are just sitting around and hand them over to a friend.

You can however buy points and give them to your friend through buying a Goozex Gift Card!
