So whats the next cool game?

I cant help but notice that there doesn't seem to be any new games to look foward to for the next few months.  If I'm wrong please correct me.  Please!  But  has anyone else noticed this scary prospect?  Of course I am only speaking for me and my 360.  I dont really know whats going on in the world of PS3 or whatnot.

I have been working on my backlog of Gamecube games that I have. Since my 360 has been dead I have played through 2 games, Serious Sam: Next Encounter and Second Sight. Working on Killer 7 at the moment.

Yes I will correct you. You must have forgoten Lord of The Rings Conquest, Resident Evil 5, and Street Fighter 4. So I now have given you 3 good games to look forward to.

Persona 4 comes out this week. AR Tonelico 2 is next month. plenty of nice j-rpgs dropping soon. :D

Killer7 is a personal favorite of mine, so I hope you enjoy it.  It's an absolute bundle of flaws, but I can think of no other game that is as thought provoking and intellectually challenging.

I'd elaborate, but I've been awake for 24 hours... aaannd I need sleep.

Most anticipated game for me is Resident Evil 5, followed closely by Street Fighter IV. There's also Tatsunoko vs Capcom being released sometime this month (japanese import), and Persona 4 next week.

Now that the holiday rush of games is over, the only thing I can think of that I must have is God of War 3, but I have no idea when that's supposed to be coming out. Once games from my request list kick in, I'll have plenty to play, right now i'm content with wasting away my time in EQ.

i have noticed that there aren't many new games coming out in a few months as well. however i think now's the perfect time to have a drought considering we just had a rush of great games like far cry 2, left 4 dead, gears 2, fallout 3, valkyria chronicles, resistance 2, fable II (i'm sure this one will take up enough of your time), call of duty: waw (even though i'm not a fan).
so for those of us with not enough time to keep up, now's the winter to catch up.

I can't wait until this week is over and winter break begins. Then I can get to serious work on my Valk, Resistance 2, and Far Cry 2 (doubt i'll finish them all though)

Next cool game? i don't know about xbox but I can't wait until Killzone 2, FFXIII, and Afro Samurai release.

i'm currently feeling left out on the xbox exclusives left 4 dead, fable 2 and Gears 2 though =(

Are you new to this whole gaming thing?  This is the exact same cycle that has happened every year since video games have had consumer appeal which goes back to the Atari days ...
