I am new to this site, I sent off my games and got my feed back and points, I have been matched with one game, on my 3rd try and the 2nd game is on it's second try, Is this a common thing on this site where people say they have a game and then don't respond?
it happens on occaision; some people don't check their email as often as they probably should

Get used to it.
Another factor may be that you got matched with someone who hasn't been active on the site in weeks/months, but their account is still active.
I've been a member for about two months, and I've matched WWE Smackdown vs Raw 2007 no less than three times, and each one just gets timed out. When I saw that happen steadily, I just added more games to my queue. It makes it a little more palatable when you have another game taking the place of the one you just had time out.
