I got this game as a potential flip and figured I should play through just to check it out. I really enjoyed it, Vin Diesel's cheesy one liners and all. I thought using your car as a melee weapon was a cool concept.
My worst games I like would prolly be a few Genesis games. Either this Disney one I would play with my mom, or the looney tunes one. There still fun

I think the reason Final Fantasy VII is so popular is it was a lot of peoples first expierence with an rpg. I'm not saying everyone cause I know a lot of people expierenced better rpgs way before that came out but a majority of people didn't even bother with rpgs till that game hit the shelves. It was the first one I for one ever played. After I played it I went back and played Chrono Trigger and FF 3 and a few others because it sparked my interest in rpgs all together. Anyways just my take on it.

I really like FFXII so far. I'm about half way through the game. I like the story so far, and the battle system reminds me of FFXI (which I still play when I end up with too much time on my hands, I love it!)

Its not a bad game by any means, most FF fans probably don't like it because of the drastic change to the battle system. You don't get into random battles, instead you can see all your enemies before hand and everything acts in active time. It is a pretty cool battle system to be honest.

I still like it better than FF8.... WTF were they thinking on that one?

Legend of Dragoon has always been one of my favourite RPGs, and it was widely (and unjustly) panned by game reviewers while loved by a lot of gamers. I never listen to game reviews now.

I actually don't mind VIII, I just hate the way you get money. As for XII the gameplay is one of the few things the game does a decent job with. The story sucks, the characters suck, The art direction sucks, the level design sucks, and the boss battles suck as they quickly devolve into quickening spamming with one boss that being the only reliable tactic.

Command and Conquer Renegade

I loved the single player as well as the Multiplayer. Average review for the games is 75% but it did win a few "best shooter" and "best multiplayer" on some lesser know websites.

I played a ton of Renegade and I can understand why it got bad scores.  The singleplayer was simple and formulaic.  The multiplayer was too complex for the average player to do without voicechat. The community that still plays it online is awesome though, the game is one of my favorite shooters.

Super Mario Sunshine - I absolutely loved it and couldn't put it down.  Come to think, I'm still missing a couple of shine sprites... hmm...  *goes to find game*

I would have to say Star Wars: Masters of Teras Kasi was the worst game I loved. Just loved the idea of playing a Star Wars based fighting game.

FFXII was by no means a poorly reviewed game though.  It's sitting at a 92 on Metacritic, which is right about where most of the other FF's (including 7) sit.  I think FF X-2 was probably one of the lowest rated recent FF's, but even that was still an 85 (and not half bad if you give it a chance).

I was really turned off from the game at first after reading about the combat system, and the early demo I played at E3 didn't help the situation either.  I ended up getting it for a birthday gift though, and I loved every minute of it.  The combat really grew on me once the game progressed, although I do admit the quickening-spamming tactic someone mentioned earlier started to become way too effective later on in the game.  I even enjoyed the characters (Balthier rocks!) and the storyline was pretty much on par (aka a bit wacky) with the other recent FF games. 

I think people who skipped it should probably give it an honest try.

Beatdown:  Fist of Vengeance.  Coming to a bargain bin near you!

The game deserved bad reviews.  Show me any of 'em, and I'll agree with pretty much everything.  But at the same time...it's stupidly fun.  There are some good ideas, some bad ones, but it's worth a shot.  Pretty sure you can get it for 100 points.

I actually enjoyed Beatdown. It kinda drug on and on after you beat it but it was still a good game and I enjoyed the fighting alot.

The only one that comes to mind right off the top of my head is Shadowrun for the 360 and PC.  A lot of critics bashed on it but to me it's one of the best FPS out there. I still need to give Eat Lead a chance though...
