HAH! Yeah, seems they did.
I just got mine. No idea how, but I got it. See ya there IWX.. Not that it's a good thing... Jk..
Home isn't letting me in. I got a good connection, but no go.
Dammit. Where is that Home beta forums... Private forums... Without the scamming Noobarinos.

Yea they sent out a ton, to everyone but me Q.Q
Actually, they sent out a ton, as in anyone registered on Playstation Underground. I've got one, but I'm a couple continents over from my PS3 right now, so I need to get rid of it. Have to check with friends first. If not, it might go on here, though.

OK, I plan to check this out sometime tonight now that it's open to the public (although I guess not everyone is really able to log on).
Question: so you either buy furniture, or you can gain furniture somehow from the games you play? For example I read that Far Cry 2 has Home support, and you can incorporate things from FC2 into home.... so, since I played FC2 on my PS3 will there be stuff from that game waiting for me when I log into home? Or do you need to have started your Home account before you gain furnishings from your games? Or do you need to buy all the stuff with real monies anyways, even the stuff from games?
I really have no idea how this thing is suppose to work.
Not sure if you can get anything from playing the game.Only thing i've heard of is the Uncharted door codes and i'm assuming you can find related clothes.
My question was if anyone had started a goozexian club? This will come in handy for the gooz winter games and I know it will be a relief to have a decent conversation and not get asked to constantly join the "orgy running man train" I could've sworn I bumped into G-Nitro a couple of times but it was a different guy with a female avatar :)
NVM,just found out you have to pay 5$ and a possible monthly charge for a club.Bummer :(

I managed to gain access to one of the locked rooms thanks to someone with a headset shouting out the code. I was a small office with some African artifacts against the wall and a couple chairs.....thats it.
By biggest problem with it is even allowing public voice chat. The amount of immature morons running around blurting out obscenities to every person they see. The idea of customizable private spaces is cool, but still feels like something Im going to have trouble taking the time to do for a glorified chat room.
And yes, the downloading and loading every time you want to go somewhere is a pain is the @#$!
Well, the dl is a one time only thing and everything loads at a good rate afterwards imo.All in all pretty cool for a free service.Immaturity, sadly, will always be there.

I'm glad I don't bother to use the voice chat on the ps3. I tried out Home last night and the most interesting part of it was the emotes. Beyond that, I don't think I'll be loading it up again for a while.

Home is awful. Its just a stripped down Second Life, which after playing Home, I went back to after a 1 1/2 years away from it. There's not much to do and really no reason to be there.
The only way Sony can make it useful is to make Home the starting point of your PS3 console. So when you start up your PS3, you automatically go into Home. Cuz right now, I have zero reason to go back to it. It's pretty disappointing as Home was one of my most anticipated things to look forward to.

I am sadly agreeing with G-Nitro here. What is the point if you have to atually load Home yourself. The PS3 should boot directly to Home to ensure that the experience (shoddy thus far) and valued advertising is seen by all.
Home definitely needs a lot of work. It would be nice if they were some sort of goal within the game. Like a "quest" or something lol.
The HOME beta, has gone to an open stage, so now it is available to everyone on the PSN, go to the PLAYSTATION STORE, then on the top right on the DOWNLOADS list scroll through the list, and the download should be there, if not check the NEW RELEASES section.
i only got on my home beta once :( ever since i needed to update the home software it wouldent let me download it!
Wow,Home is getting slammed.I'm actually enjoying it quite a bit.So far i've spent a bit of time trying to get the free goodies from the arcades.Best of all,I just got the Namco arcades set up in my living space. The Japanese Home rocks,by the way.Considering this is mainly an optional interactive meeting ground as opposed to menus with avatars,I think they did a good job, with room for improvement of course.
