I have been scammed 3 times in a row by the same people, but as the buyer you have 0 protection.  The buyer should be able to reject trades too within 24 hours, simple as that.

Hello,

I checked your account history and could not find details on attempted "scams": i.e. matches that were not confirmed.

Can you share some more info, in particular:

- dates

- name of the game

I found one "timed-out" match for the game Cubivore: Survival of the Fittest (Dec 16) and one for the game Super Mario 64 DS (Nov 28).

To better identify the issue, can you provide more information on the "scam", such as:

- dates

- title of the game

I had a "fake offer" with Dead Space for the Xbox 360 and I believe, to early to tell for sure, the offer for Star Wars: The Force Unleased for the Xbox 360 might turn out to be a fake offer also. I made contact with the person who was to send Dead Space and he did not know he was on the hook to send me the game and was going to ship it out about a week ago. Have not heard from him since. I have pmed the Star Wars guy/girl and no responce from that person yet, but as said before it is a bit early but I have a good feeling it is going to turn out bad in the end.

Three times, as in the buyer didn't confirm. I just sat there waiting for 26 hours. It was with Cubivore, Super Mario 64 DS, and it is happening now with Super Paper Mario: Thousand-year Door. Sorry for the confusion!

Keep in mind that for older games like Mario 64DS and Thousand Year Door, it's quite possible somebody threw them on their list and then abandoned their account.  The most definite way to identify a scam is from an account that has never completed a trade, and was not made recently.  But that's by no means proof.

I've had a fake offer, or simply a disorgznied trader happen to me several times... Just wait it out, Pm the person, move on with life, and laugh at this picture.

I'm going to chime in here...  If this has already been suggested I apologize I just don't have the time to read through 7 pages of posts right now.

I've had to report 5 Negative feedbacks going on 6 so far for games not sent.  It is very upsetting.  In the waiting period the games are traded multiple times, and then after 2 1/2 weeks we are forced to wait again.  At the same time, I believe that the time allotted is essential in case the game got lost, the user for some reason did not send yet, etc.

My suggestion to Goozex, which I will also send via email, would be to add an option to block all trading with users with a account age of three months old or less, or a an option of blocking users unless they have successfully traded one game.

Anyone that agrees or disagrees please chime in...

That's what I figured as well... Happened 3 times to me on CoD4.... I get matched up with new users with no activity. Guess 4th times the charm?

i'm first in line for two games and had a lot of fake offers during this month, and i just keep getting matched with these users while the games keep getting traded with other people AAARRRRGGGHHHH!!

i've been matched up with the same user 3 or 4 times for GoW2, and he never accepts. he signed up in Feb '08 and has never done a trade. But he keeps offering it up and tying up my slot. I'm starting to get pissed

Positive news here!

 I was matched up with a new user from Ontario to send me Rock Band 2 for the Wii. I didn't have have high hopes for recieving the game but it arrived today. So not all new users with new games are scammers.

Wow, it's amazing how low people can get.

I once had someone on eBay buy something from me, steal the remote control and all the cables, then send the unit back saying it was broken.
