I had a time in my short tenure here where I was matched up with someone who let it time out -- and then was matched right up with them again.  They accepted the 2nd time, though.

My biggest worry about people who don't accept is that if you get more time to simply accept the trade, how long is it going to take you to actually mail off the trade?  If you want 2 days to accept, do you then want 5 days to mail?  And an extra 7 days for feedback?

Email is probably the easiest thing to stay on top of.  Just set up a filter or folder for Goozex so you can quickly check if anything needs your action.  But even then, it's moot if you're just going to decline the trade because you can't ship it off on time.

2-3 days is absurd. Enough people time out as it is. I'm not waiting even longer with my pints and token held hostage just because you can't check your email. Seriously, it takes 5 minuted to log on and see if you have a trade.

If you can't do that once a day, this may not be the place for you

I think 26 hours is too long. The lines are long here and 26 hours is FOREVER to people that are 50th in line.  I think it should be more like 12 or 18 hours.

No way is that too long, most of us (not including me) don't live on the internet. Your position in line also really has nothing to do with response time for accepting a trade.

Sure it does.  If I am 50th in line waiting to get rid of a game and all 49 people in front of me have the opportunity to send out the game (in sequential order) and for each one we are waiting 26 hours for them to respond.......do the math.  It adds up to a lot of time I have to wait before it can become my turn.  It has everything to do with it.

Except if the other 49 people are all timing out, not accepting for those 26 hours, they're temporarily not in front of you for offering the game.  Anyone in a pending match isn't in the queue.

That doesn't factor in that you don't have to be first to get the game or send the game either.  You can't really just say "well, I'm 50th, I gotta wait on 49 other people".  Lines shift, games get put on hold, restrictions, etc".  Making the time frame less than 26 hours would just cause mass rage cause people miss chances, make people time out faster and more often, and wouldn't really help you at all cause if a seller times out  multiple times, he gets booted back and then the supply is still null.

Whats best for you right now is not always whats for the community.

You mean there's people who aren't on their computer for 16 hours a day or checking their e-mails every 2 hours after potty breaks of console games?

You people disgust me with your lack of gaming dedication.
