I think it is more than fair that if you reject a trade you get placed at the end of the queue.  That's the beauty of the automated system.

Agreed. If you miss the 26 hour period, that's kind of your own durr fault.

As a new user, I can honestly say that I don't see how any longer than 26 hours could benefit any more than a small population of Goozex users.

If the sender isn't fast enough to respond, you get rotated back into the same spot in line you had - for someone who is fast enough to send the game you're looking for.

I'd suggest looking at it from both sides. Sure, it might be nice to have longer to approve a trade, but let's say your very last 1000 points and trade credit were being held waiting for a MAJOR title you wanted. Would you want to wait up to 48 hours to see if the other person approves the trade, or would you like to get back into the queue as fast as possible to see if someone else can deliver?

I vote for whoever can get me the game faster, personally!

It's actually slightly longer than 26 hours when you consider the match sits at "1 hour remaining" for about three hours.

Have you actually sat there hitting F5 during that time period and watching the clock?  If so can I suggest a visit to http://www.getahobby.com ?  Big Smile

26hours seems good to me.  Just check your emails every day.  Luckily?(debatable) I have a crackberry! No escaping email for me lol :S

ex. You check your email at noon offer comes in 1pm. The next day you check afternoon guess what, it's past time. You've still checked your email every day but its too late.

But you haven't checked it every day.  If you do noon one day, and 3 pm the next, that 27 hours.  By definition, you missed a day in there.  It might not have been "Wednesday" but it is a bigger than 24 hour window.

Anyone that sells a game should understand they need to check it every day so that things will work faster.

... or at least understand and accept the consequences of not doing so.

This is really simple, dont activate a game from your offer list unless you are ready to trade it. 26 hours is plenty of time, if you know you are #1 on line for a game you know that at anytime you can be matched. Checking your e-mail once a day every day is almost a must.

Peace is a lie, there is only passion.

I have this problem with two titles right now! Both Forza Motorsport 2 and Skate for the 360 matched up for me yesterday, and it's nearly down to the wire for the sellers to accept.

There's only 3 hours left for Skate and 6 for Forza 2. I think I'll send them both a message, to see if they're even interested in trading the games anymore. There are hundreds of eager traders for both games! Cool

Goozex should do something about deadbeat traders!  They have like 0 feedback and no info on them and all they do is say they have the game so the system kicks you out of the current queue and they let the 26 hours expire and the system dumps you back into queue to wait again.  This sucks! I PM-ed the trader but surprise surprise, no response. ARGH!

The OP mentions work and not having access...Why not check your email before you leave for work and once again when you get home?

I wish it was like 8 hours for some of the more available ps2 games! It takes me 2-3 people to get accepted

Just have your email forward messages from Goozex to your cellphone.
