True, but this concerns our government which makes decisions that are more important than any simple organization. The people shouldnt be tied to any party that basically forces them to vote one way or they lose their backing.
But as far as organizations, i agree with anything the NRA does, not many groups fight for my 2nd amendment rights.

Sensing a little animosity towards the NRA here. It's not like they're some group that harresses people.
I don't like guns. almost had my foot shot off by a stupid person holding a shotgun. Not the guns fault. I fear people
I have no problem with people having their rights to bear arms. Isn't that what we protect? our rights?
I would rather keep a large knife or a tazer. Rather not kill the person and have that on my conscience.

I appreciate my 2nd amendment rights and own guns, but I just do not think the NRA is so pristine.
is anything with a large body of people every "pristine". shoot. I love my church and organized religion i feel is very important but to call it pristine and without fault is just crazy.
Humans are faulty. Group a couple of faulty humans together and you get what you get. Deal with what you got.

Yeah, he's the projected winner at this point. I'm glad, I hope he can do us some good.
This is a historic moment. I hope we will see President Obama become a great president.
All politics aside, this really is an amazing moment. I can't think of a moment in my life (I'm 26) that I've actually sat back and just been proud of my country. I'm really having trouble thinking of an event in my lifetime that I could be really proud of as an American.
Just...wow.
Let us hope he does not &*^% it up.
