Hey everyone,

After Spoon's thread on taxes, I became curious as to what Goozex members party leanings were.
Let me know who you're voting for! I already early voted for Ron Paul.

Canadians, young ones and others welcome, tell us what you would do if you lived here.

Who did you/are you going to Vote for?

  • McCain (32.5%)
  • Obama (51.6%)
  • Barr (4%)
  • Paul (4%)
  • Other (7.9%)
  • Total Votes: 126

Voting for reward? That just doesn't seem right. Just like last election when I saw some dude actually selling his vote on eBay. Genius idea but it got taken down.

Seriously though, didn't Ron already lose the primary?  Isn't that a bad sign for your candidate's electability?

Obama.. I would have voted whoever was on the Democratic ticket.

I'm normally a protest vote for the third party candidate, but this year I'll vote for Obama. Need to make sure the republicans can't mess things up more.

Ah, see I live in Texas - voting for anyone besides McCain would be "throwing my vote away." So, if i vote for Paul (who is still technically running), I'm at least contributing to his overall percentage, which might actually accomplish something. If Libertarians receive 15% of the popular vote, they will be allowed in the debates. So I am more than happy to contribute to a potentially less partisan America.

And for those of you that don't know, if you want to vote for someone that isn't on the ballott, its called a write-in. You can vote for yourself technically.

I think I'm skipping on the presidential choice.

The Independent Party candidate isn't even listed... hmm.  Confused

I'll probably go with the Bull Moose party anyway... Stick out tongue

Ok, I'm an African American male and I'm not voting for Obama. Why? He is pro-choice. I know that I'm not a woman and will never have to go through pregnancy or being raped or something but still. I don't believe it's right to take the life of a child.

Thoraxe for President! Yes

I only listed what candidates actually show up on the ballot, and then I put Paul because I am blatantly biased towards him.

At first I wasnt going to vote at all this year but I am all for Obama for the reason of change in the US,,,, if McCain gets into office I will leave the US and never look back, I am sick of the same old crap and McCain is just another Bush, high class dont need tax cuts-why? there already rich, if I was raped I would want the option to have it terminated, this is how it is

Obama = Hope, Peace, Tomorrow, Change, Historical, Everyone, Environment

McCain = Fear, War, Yesterday, Bush 3rd Term, Prehistorical, Super Rich Only, Corporate Profit

Also if Obama gets into office it will be a Historical event that will open up a world of possibilities for Amarica.

I'm voting for McCain as the lesser of two evils. We simply cannot afford an Obama presidency. Now is not the time to be elected a socialist. Obama's philosophy is the complete polar opposite of what's needed in this country. We need to go back to the founding fathers, not to a socialist nanny state. McCain won't fix anything but at least he'll prevent the disastrous effects of a potentially filibuster-proof Obama presidency.
