I just shipped out 5 games worth 1000 points today, one was 300 points and 200, the rest were 150.  Shipped each for around 2.20 each.  Even if I were to ship out 10 100 point games that's about 25 dollars for 50 dollars worth of points.

He has a valid point. I try to save as much on shipping as I can. If I can send a ds game by itself, I would do it be sending it in a envelope and putting a stamp on it. Once it's out, it's not my problem. Getting negative feedback doesn't affect your points, just your rep.

I love how heated this discussion is.

And for Timpy-san: For the record I've been 30+ in line for the past 2 games I requested, and I was matched in a day.

I'm afraid I have some bad news for you... if you still got points for getting a negative feedback, why would anyone bother to send out games?

Or did you mean neutral, not negative?

I did recently receive NBA 2K7 and it was in great shape, so I guess it's useful for 100 point games.

However, I shipped NBA Live 2006 out to a user and the jackass left negative feedback saying the game didn't work...it definitely does, seeing as how I bought it new and played it three times.

To top it off, the moron got two negative feedbacks after I shipped it because he lied about shipping two games.

So Goozex is definitely useful in a way, but it has no failsafe for ignorance.

email goozex at feedback@goozex.com about this if you haven't already; these are clearly the traits of a scammer

EDIT: DEFINITELY email goozex about it if you havent

I'd suggest you open up your trading region to include both the US and Canada. I've gotten at least a  couple games that were "long wait" from our friends to the North.

I'm also happy about getting new release games in a timely manner. I remember getting Bully and Lego Indiana Jones pretty quick (and traded them to other Goozex members within a couple weeks). I also got GTA IV pretty fast (it's still sitting on my "to play" pile). It seems like I got Guitar Hero for DS withing a week or two of its release. Can't really complain.

Like someone else said, use Paypal shipping to save money on delivery confirmation. Also buy bubble envelopes in bulk at someplace like Sam's or Costco (and reuse the ones that you get in the mail) to get them cheaper.

I only recently joined Goozex, but I think I see how the system works and doesn't work. By no means should people consider it a substitution for buying recently released games (as it seems lots of complainers are mad they aren't getting stuff like Dead Space or Fable II), but what it is is a site that gives you actual worth for games you don't want and lets you give those away to get stuff you do want. I think Goozex works fine when I can send someone Boom Blox and get Advance Wars: Dual Strike and Grand Theft Auto IV from it.

As long as you're fine with waiting 2 months after release for your new releases it's fine.
