Something just so awesome about Bioware games, the 2D ones even more so.  They way the dragon encounters worked in that game, very cool and the total party control of RTWP was near perfect

Such a good RPG it kind of ruins other RPGs for me.  After playing this for dozens of hours I can't play a JRPG for more than 1 hour w/o geting bored to tears.

BG was a glorious game. 

The only reason I haven't weighed in here is that I think it's impossible for me to pick a favorite.

EDIT:  Apparently I did weigh in back in May, but as I look back, while all good mentions, I don't think I could pick a favorite.  Ultima Online would be a front runner, bringing MMOs to the mainstream and doing the best job at it then and up until now (WOW included), though its a shame to see the aged game try to struggle on.  I wish it had died right after its prime ended in the early 2000s.

All time?.. tough call..I rarely play anything on PC anymore but here are my all-time favs from when I was a PC junkie.

Duke Nukem 3D (I played that thing with friends for years.)

Diablo II (was simply awesome till LOD expansion came and ruined it)

Everquest (played from 2001-2008, I still miss playing my Ranger and it's been over a year since I retired from EQ)

Day of Defeat (only non-console shooter I stuck with)

Civil War Generals 2 (my favorite strat game ever)

Warcraft 2 & 3 (both ruled)

Of all time Sim City 2000. 
But also, FFVII and FFVIII, which I first played on the PC. 
But then theres also Counter-Strike and CS:Source, which I've played for a rediculous amount of time. 
But favorite,  honestly, right at this moment?  Left 4 Dead 2.  Right now.

/if that makes any sense.

Far Cry because it was the first fps that I would play. I had just built an awesome gaming computer and the graphics were unreal for the games at the time. There would no doubt be other games like Fallout 3 if I had played them on a pc but I stopped playing computer games when the ps3 came out for the most part.

Holy old thread, Batman!  Count me in, though.

• Heroes of Might and Magic II or III  (Can I get "just one more turn")
• System Shock 2  (One of the only games to ever ACTUALLY scare me.)
• Bioshock  (This is one of the OTHER ones.)
• World of Warcraft (How could I NOT mention a game that kept me playing for nearly 5 frigging years?  That's all in the past, now!)
• Asheron's Call 
• Warcraft 3
• Quest for Glory I and II

I could probably keep going, but those are some that I remember most fondly.
