I get so frustrated now when I request a game right at 1 AM , I'm getting bumped because of the site bogdown and get stuck in the 30's and 40's cuz I have to keep clicking add to my requests cause site fails, and it's only gonna get worse, Goozex hurry up and upgrade the servers
lol the site did seem particularly slow this time....took forever to add fable 2, legendary, and far cry 2......

No kidding. Placing a request at 2 seconds after the hour results in #27 due to the bogdown. Could be worse though, I suppose. Could have ended up in the 30's or 40's. ;)
have to get their attention somehow, and its only gonna get worse, there was probably a thousand people or so on trying to request games, if they cannot upgrade the servers to compensate from a huge jump in members on at once then they need to change how requesting games has been working,
I requested LBP, Far Cry 2, Spider Man WOS, and Legendary, all within 30 secs after 1 AM, and none went through until 1:07 AM, and I got in the 30's on all except SM WOS which was 17, I wanted top 10 for Far Cry 2 and LBP :(
i didn'tnotice the time and at 10:16 i was already at like 166th for fable 2
My college classes end at 10:00 PST...we got out early tonight...I then realized that 10:00 PST is 1:00 EST...and drove home fast.
Got out of the car at 9:56 ran inside...stupid doorknob has a key that has to be almost all the way in but like one tenth of a cm out...so I lost some time there.
Ran upstairs to my computer hit home (goozex is my homepage)...

Two points:
1.) The lottery or some form of new system is looking better and better, even though BlackCoyote was not fond of the idea.
2.) Any system that allows G-Nitro to get 1st on so many games is obviously flawed.

Please, G-Team, give us a lottery system. I don't want to have to keep waking myself up at 12:45 every time a new game is released!
Once again, the lottery system is a flawed idea. A member could constantly get a long wait time and never even make it in the top 50 since it's all random and based on luck/chance. While others could possibly keep getting higher spots. It would create a whole new issue.
I suggested moving the release time to 9PM EST/6PM PST on the release date, so everyone has a chance. I think it's the only way to be fair and not have it while most people not on the west coast are sleeping.
btw, I wake up at 12:58, no need to be up any earlier.
Also, if you really, really want that game, you should go out and purchase it. If everyone on goozex just got in line and never purchased games, this site wouldn't be here.
really. I can't wait up till 1 am every Monday. So I can't do it till now and it will be months and months before I get it. Then there is the well wait till 1 am or buy it and you can have it sooner argument. I'm sorry, I'd still like the lottery system. I'd rather take my chances there.

I'm sorry this is flawed logic. While it is "possible" it isn't very probable. So yes it will be a headache either way. BUT the lottery system would seem to benifit more people than the stay up and wait crowd. I know this because I have stayed up and right away there are a good deal of people in the first hour or so, but a great deal more requst it AFTER that first several hours.
I got here when I woke up at 5 am EST and I was 89th for Far Cry 2 and Long Wait for LBP. There is no "perfect" system, but we need to find a system that is more of a level playing field.
