I am new to Goozex and my first offer looks to have gone sour

I have sent off 4 games with 3 good feedbacks so far, waiting for the 4th and have only requested one game so far. The guy choose to send the game off in 3 days, that's a bummer but what could I do, then I looked at the date the deadline fell on and it was a Sunday. I would think he would have sent it Saterday or before but never recived a confirmation. I messaged him Saterday night to see if he sent it off and no responce back. I want to cancel this game as quickly as I can to get my trading creadit back. What is the best and fastest way and should I wait a few more days?

Is there a way to choose who you want to send a game to you instead of the system doing it for me?I would rather deal with people with a good track record and send same or next day not 3 days, thats not for me.

He doesn't have to confrim to have actaully sent out the game. He may have sent  it and just didn't come on and confrim sending the game. All you can do is wait a week and see if you get the game. If you don't get it by then try messaging him a few times then if you don't get through with him then contact feedback@goozex.com

Dude, just show a little patience. You will no doubt get your game in a timely fashion. Remember, today is a postal holiday in the US, but he will probably ship the game early this week. I always press ship in 3 days, even if I plan on shipping next day. Just sit back and wait patiently for the game.

Also, messaging the seller is OK, but please don't spam or pester the poor person. We all have lives that shockingly do not center around shipping the games ASAP. Technically, the seller has 21 days in which to get you the game. So, once again, show some patience my wonderful new user.

Sometimes I want to do the same thing ... so in those cases I direct trade (shhh it's against the TOS) with this user called 'Amazon'.  A bit pricy, but the delivery can't be beat. 

And when I positively have to have a new game right away, I can always count on a few other users -'gamestop', 'bestbuy' and 'circuitcity'.  They come through without a hitch - same day.

I just think it's rude not to send confirmation or reply back (I only sent one message to the guy on the last night who could have shipped it). It should be mandatory to send a confirmation that it was sent, it's not that hard. I am new and it was simple to send a confirmation.

Another thing, his rating isn't the best so that's why I have concern. I would rather trade with people I want instead of the system trading with anyone.

Is there a way to trade in my points for cash? I don't think Goozex is for me.

no there is not, perhaps you should read up a bit more on a site before becoming a part of it; as for your remaining points/trade credits; just request a few games to use them up, sorry your experience wasn't great, the site really is worth it, im very glad i became a part of it, and the occasional trading issue is very much worth it to me

I don't think I would want to trade with someone who thinks that waiting 4-5 days means a trade went "sour".

I'd have to agree with you senile, I don't think Goozex is for you either. If you think waiting for someone who selects 3 days is bad, you'd really be unhappy when a week after they were supposed to send it you get a message from the user letting you know they just then sent it out.

Patience is a real virtue for Goozex. I curse people daily as I make an anticipatory trip to the mailbox and walk back to the house with nothing but bills and credit card offers but Goozex works and if you stick with it, you'll be happy in the end. There really is no cheaper method for game trading. You could always try robbing a GameStop though.

Senile is an appropriate name. Did it ever occur to you that the person went away for the weekend. They are most definitely not obligated to hunch over their PC waiting for you to email them. Get a grip and either appreciate the wonderful deals the service provides or move on.

Senile, people are just irritated here because they tend to deal with at least 4 noobs a day who tend not to have common sense. Don't take it personally.

Now, I actually do agree with what they're saying. You seem to be taking things far too seriously. I've dealt with people who've sent their game a week late. I've dealt with a trade that's seriously gone bad, where I had to get a refund because the game was never sent. Please try to understand that patience really is extremely important here and you will very probably earn enemies if you take minor delays too seriously. Take people's advice here, they know what they're talking about. If goozex isn't right for you, that's too bad, but I hope you stick around because this site can save hundreds of dollars.
