Well the way I talk about them you'd think I own the place or getting kickbacks but unfortunatly that isn't the case.

You can go to their site fill out a form and they will mail you a slipcase and an envalope. Put your discs in there and mail it off. It will come back as good as the day you bought it. Perfectly smooth. As long as the scratch isn't in to the silver part you have a very good chance they can fix it. I've never had one they couldn't fix. If you want your disc back quicker, there is a different form you can fill out and mail that with your own mailer. You don't have to wait for theirs to arrive.

But holy moly, 4 bucks for a disc fixing? I am not going to complain about Game Crazy. It's 1.00 (last time I checked) but most of the time, the employee does it for free becasue they just don't care. Unless you bring them an excess amount. O__o

i can verify skippydisc is awesome, fixed my Call of Duty 4 disc which had been inside my xbox when it tipped over=huge scratches, now it looks brand new

Considering the Planetary Pack is actually worth about $20-30, it's worth shelling out the $4 to get it fixed I think....

How do they come back looking from Game Crazy? WHen I've seen those home job cleaners you get all these swirlly marks on the bottom, it plays, but looks god awful.

the ones ive taken to game crazy have come back looking damn good

If you find a capable employee, the disc looks like new. If you find a trainee, well...enjoy the swirly marks.

Good point on the regular/trainee explanation.I was about to mention the same thing.I usually had a better experience at game crazy than gamestop.If there's one near by,Hastings also does a good job at cleaning discs.
