I'm on the 25-30 category.  NOOOO! getting older every day.

I still have a few years before I jump into the last bracket

Oh, pal-leeze. I go 46 late in December. It's great getting older, balder, fatter, and sometimes poorer depending on the economy. What fun! And my age bracket is arguably the smallest representation within Goozex. I am not sure that is a good thing or not. But seriously, life goes on, babe.

Whew! Barely made the "cool" choice (25-30 years old) with me being 30.

I got a new set of eyeglasses! (of course that is because my old ones broke and I had to superglue them together like the nerd that I am....)

Pft that is nothing.  I broke my prescription sunglasses on many ocassions.  The screws on the lenses broke off so I had to use wire to keep them together.  Also I broke both my pairs of glasses so for the past year and a half I have been using the prescription safety glasses I got when I was working at a steel mill.  I always would embarrass the wife when I wore them in public.  I got three new pairs of glasses on Tuesday though :(.  I am sure I will break them soon enough.

Are we talking glasses now? Well...I broke the metallic frames on my glasses a few weeks ago. The piece that is near the right hinge totally broke off along with the piece the screw was supposed to go in. I really didn't want to get a new pair because my lenses are expensive due to my high perscription. Of course, my frames had been discontinued and the Lenscrafters where I got them claimed they didn't have any similar models to fit the cut of my lenses. :(

I eventually found some nice plastic frames for my lenses at the optometrist I used to go to and they hide the lenses very nicely. However, I just got my hair cut today, and the guy at the cashier mentioned that I looked like an accountant...And my previous glasses got a remark on the lines of school teacher...heh...
