What Twisted Metal should I get???

I've never played the twisted metal series but it looks really fun. I'm looking into either getting Twisted Metal: Black or Twisted Metal: Head-On for the ps2. For those of you who have played either/both how do the games compare and is it worth getting? Thanks

i really can't remeber them now but i do remeber loving number 3 for the original playstation especially because i owned people in it and had unlocked every thing and when i put it in the cd player it actuallly played some of the songs.

it really is a great series that i miss and i think i really did love Twisted Metal: Black

TM3 was my favorite TM ever. people hate it and bash it but ugh, i loved it so much.

anyway, I think you should start with Twisted Metal Black. :D

Twisted Metal Black is as close as the franchise is ever going to get to being a full-out masterpiece.  Some of the character storylines make my skin crawl.

That being said, Twisted Metal 2 is a classic.  The graphics and controls are definitely that of a 12-year-old title, but it's still a blast to play.

I haven't played Black, but I would suggest Twisted Metal 3. That was my favorite on the Psx. Had tons of fun with multiplayer.
