I'm new to the site and have read all the FAQ and such, so if this isn't the right place to post this, sorry =S.  I signed up on the 12th and bought trade credits and points, so I know I have enough.  I've also got a large selection of requests and have been matched up for games multiple times, yet every single time the pending game has reset because either the seller refuses or just doesn't bother to accept/decline the sale.  Is there anything that can be done in a situation like this?  :( It's worst when I have to wait just for offer to run out, since I only have two open trade slots right now.

Can I ask what some of these games are that you are having issues with?  Maybe then by looking at the trading stats, we can figure things out.

Sure.  Grand Theft Auto Double Pack (XBOX), Grand Theft Auto III (XBOX), Quake 4 (XBOX 360) and at the moment I'm waiting on Half Life 2 (XBOX) and The Suffering (XBOX).  All of them set as matches and then just run out of time :(

Some people have complained that the 'ship to' abuse for people sending to Canada is bad ... I wonder if this is what is going on?

Sorry that wasn't clear - it had come up in another thread.  There are some people who are 'gaming' the regional coverage by checking the 'will ship to Canada' in order to get more games sent to them but then not accepting trades that would have them sending *to* Canada.

Ah, thanks for the clarification. :)  My main problem seems to be not so much denying shipping the game to me as just letting the time on it run down a lot of times.  Is there nothing to help with that at all? :(

There isn't anything yet ... some have suggested we do something.  I had a game that was on my list and I watched it match and unmatch *three times* before getting accepted - then the person never shipped nor did they reply to PM's.  Oh well, I re-requested and got the game eventually (Dreamfall ... now I just need time to play!)

I'm a Canadian noob and was thinking of opening my ship to option up to USA transactions in order to try increase chances of my offerings being matched. This problem mentioned possible in this thread, at least in some cases, won't deter me. In fact, just the opposite and now I wonder how much is cost to ship game to USA from Canada?

Even if my games only go out to USA but few or none come back to me from that region, at least I'll have built my trade rep (hopefully) and my points balance too? Can always change your preferences once you've tired of sending out but not receiving transactions from USA, right? While it is disappointing not to get what you wanted or to need to pursue it via PM's in order to, this problem is not without some advantage for noobs like me that are having difficulty moving their first games. Granted, might move better if offering up something worth more than 100 pts. but being new am afraid to until I get more familiar with the site and trading behaviours of the membership? I need to send out games to earn Goozex points so won't have to buy all I need. This is a trading site after all. Certainly am happy we've the option to buy points if we chose or need to but when new and feeling things out it is nice you don't need to begin trading shelling money out before you know if worthwhile yet. I do hope most USA traders that are willing to trade Canadian are not so cheap about sending games to us - fair is fair really, or should be? Maybe somehow Goozex can track if people are possibly taking some unfair advantage and maybe remove them from International trading if they refuse too often to ship out but rarely when it comes to receiving? Could be they do track such things as too many cancels etc., and if I remember correctly, such behaviour has it's possible penalties eventually? Might be to a noob's advantage to open up trade to USA if shipping there isn't too costly? If USA ship cost is less than purchasing the Goozex points you'll earn doing a deal then I will be interested in altering my settings to allow USA trades, at least until I manage to build a rep sufficient to quell concerns some have over doing deal with us noobs.

Thanks for the heads up.

Never had  problems with US users but if there are really people that do that they are stupid. The cost to send to Canada from the US is about the same as domectic and they have limited tracking while Canadians have to pay double and have no tracking at all.
