darkneji: I just thought of a question. What does that silver guy mean?
I just thought of a question.
What does that silver guy mean?
I am assuming it is an 'are you online' indicator?

Lurknomore: I like the look of the forums, but it's tough for some of us old guys to adjust to all of the changes. Will probably need to personalize the crap out of the forums to make sense of all the newness.

Sweet! Thats cool.
Blackcoyote:We'll be asking for user feedback on one particular new feature: groups.
Has that been implemented yet? I assume it will be under my profile page but I didn't see it.
pcktlnt: Just curious, but where is the inbox?
Just curious, but where is the inbox?
The inbox has been replaced with the Conversations in your Forum Home page.
Basically, you can still send a PM to a user using either the Goozex PM page (on the trading profile) or by starting a new conversation with said user. However, the conversations are intended to be between two or more people: it means you can start a conversation with three or more people, each sharing the messages exchanged within the convrsation.

Groups are not available yet, as we are testing a few more features.
What Coyote was talking about is a sort of survey that we would like to conduct to investigate what are members' preferences related to Groups. In particular:
- A group will be a set of people that can share a subforum (dedicated forum space for the group's purposes) and even publish individual pages (sort of blog) describing the group's features and activities.
- A group can be public (anybody can join), restricted (public with approval of admin to join), private (only by invitation)
- A group has one (or more) individuals that are assigned as admin and can change settings and edit pages.
We have a limited number of groups that we can setup (due to licensing limitations), and we are considering setting up a few groups related to specific activities on the community:
- Goozex Olympics or competitions or MVP
- Developers
These are a few ideas, and we are open to suggestions.

Sounds great! One question! Can you be in more than one group?
Sure. As long as the group is public or you are invited to participate.
*excitement*
I like it half and half. It looks nicer, sleeker but when it came to actually posting...it literally took me a minute or so to find the reply button. Also, i made these if you ever want to use buttons :
PM me if any admin wants to use them..
Took a day or so to get used to, but I like it. Thanks guys.I agree with the Reply button being at the bottom of each comment. Is an official goozex chat coming any time soon?I also like the groups idea, don't like the "rep" system, and think the font is a tad too small in some areas.Overall, I enjoy the additions, changes, and new look.
I dont like this new forum. Why are all the text so small and y does it auto adjusts? I can barely make out what the words are. I liked how it used to be, simple and easy to navigate.

If you are on FireFox you can easily magnify the browser window with the scroll-wheel and ctrl key.
New suggestion: if it's possible, please disable animated gifs in signatures. So far I've only seen a few, but damn they're annoying if they take up the whole width of the forum.
