In one of my many "thinking sessions" today (While the Olympics are in commercials, I like to grab some "me time") I started wondering about games that bounce back to Goozex HQ because of insufficent postage, wrong addresses, etc. It then dawned on me that these costly mistakes by people could actually end up doing some good.
My suggestion is that for every game (E/E 10+.....maybe a few Teens) that Goozex receives, they should donate that game to a local children's hospital or worthy charity. Not only would this give Mark some peace of mind for giving Jon the wrong shots, it would make everyone involved in a bad trade happy that their game brought some little child some joy.
Thoughts?
i think that the original sender should be asked if they don't mind, but otherwise I have have no problem with it. there must be plenty of worthy causes in the DC area that could benefit from this.
Speaking of donating games, I want to thank the Goozex community for their hearty and generous donations of games and systems during the Holiday Season last year towards the Ronald McDonald House. Hopefully we'll cook something up for this year.

You know I'm in. Let's put our heads together, Lurk. Not literally, of course. That would just be weird.

Well, it wasn't that weird the last time...just awkward when our wives came into the room without KNOCKing. How rude.

Right, and GameStop/EB have already done used video game trading.
While Child's Play is a great charity, they don't accept used games. Places like the Ronald McDonald house are a better option for the Goozex community.
I'm still messed from the heads thing.....
Boy, now that we've settled into the new area I have a bunch of stuff to donate ;)

Really?
I've bought used games from Amazon before and had them shipped to CP. Heck I did it from their site. That was a year or so ago, so maybe it has changed.
EDIT: Crap I guess you are right. I just saw this.
PLEASE NOTE: All items must be new and unwrapped. Please do not purchase used items or have them giftwrapped. Thank you!
I don't know if that was there before, but I did buy used. (hope they accepted it) I mean you get more for your money, but I don't need to explain that to anyone here.
