Got a request for a game Clicked the 3 days button and mailed out today (I had until 8-1). After mailing the game I come home to find a Cancellation request followed by Negative feedback for "I received an unplayable disc". I did have DC on the package. I've e-mailed Goozex to ask what can be done, but what am I looking at here as far as recourse?

I recomend emailing both help @ goozex.com and feedback @ goozex.com (no spaces) about this.  Goozex should request that the trader send the game to their HQ where they can check it's quality.  It does seem fishy that the trader sent both a trade cancel request as well as negative feedback.  Also, did you check the DC to see if the game has even arrived to the person you traded it to?  If they actually haven't gotten it yet, or it arrived after they left neg feedback, dish up that info in your emails to Goozex.  In my estimation that would be enough to put the outcome in your favor.

Be persistent and polite and patient with your Goozex emails, and they will work with you and likely employ the Goozex Guarantee which protects every trade.  Especially if the other trader has any kind of previous history of questionable trades.

I know he has not gotten the game. I mailed it out today while I was out. Did not see the cancellation or negative feedback until I got home. I will also try to mail help at goozex as I already sent an email to feedback at goozex. Thanks.

The G-Team has said that the feedback @ goozex .com account is checked more regularly checked than the help account. It couldn't hurt to email them but it would be a bit of a waste of time.

Seems like a scammer to me.

Email feedback@goozex.com and include all details of the trade and the DC number for the package.  If you want keep us posted here.

Doubt his intent was to scam. I think what happened was he wanted to cancel right away and he foudn that the other user had to agree to cancel. For some reason or another (maybe he requested the wrong game), he was too impatient to wait for the cancellation or didn't think it was working and he just left negative feedback. Or maybe he wants me to think that.

I'm not really defending him though. That's a pretty low blow. Hopefully Goozex can do something about it.

I love his comment - blah ... seems like a scammer to me email goozex, they will get it resoloved .

Update: Got an Email from Goozex asking for the DC # and letting me know his account has been suspended for feedback abuse. USPS Tracking says the package has arrived in his city for sorting.

 

Update 2: Goozex has removed my negative and given me the points for my trade. :)
