Buyer wants me to ship to another adress should I be worried ?

He gave me a completely different adress, then the one im suppossed to ship to . Should I be worried ?

 That would depend. Is this a new trader or one with an established trade history? Does his history look suspicious? Did the person give a plausible reason why the gave should be sent to a different address?

If you are still worried PM me with the user name, can't guarantee I'll better be able to tell you anything but I'll try.

 I had a similar experience with someone who seemed suspicious.  In fact, they seemed suspicious from their user name down to their recent account and questionable trades/feedback.  I'm usually very quick to accept trades, but I let this one time out because I just didn't want to deal with it.

Hint to new users: Don't use an overtly offensive trader name for your account. It might seem funny to you, but it raises suspicion and could result in a less than optimal chance of getting someone to send you a game...

Is he from Ontario? If he is do not send. If it's a new user I would also reccomend not sending but especially if he is from Ontario.

With that being said if the user has a lot of feedback Im not against it. I've done it in the past and requested in the past (I have wanted games sent to friends etc)

 I wouldn't eithe. Especially with the recent flood of users gaming the system. Does he have any games sent currently?

I had this happen to me recently. I was matched with a user and they told me that they were in the process of moving and to send it to their new address. I did so (only because I was matched with this person before, so I had some confidence in the trade) but when it reached the new address, and I checked the delivery confirmation I found out that the game was forwarded to another address. That had me worried, but luckily it was sent back to me. Finally I sent it out to a family member of the user and he got it, left feedback and everything was merry.

I just had this happen to me too.  After getting matched to a someone in Ontario, they sent a PM saying "here's my REAL address".  I google mapped both addresses, and they were a few blocks apart.  When asked why the fake address, the user stated something about "being afraid of registering their real address".  This user had only 1 trade sent to another account in Ontario (both recently joined).  I had debated cancelling the trade, but didn't want to discourage new users looking for low-point games so I sent it.  After returning from the post office, I went to PM the user with the shipping info and their account had been disabled.  Now I'm just waiting out my 21 days for system feedback.  I'm currently matched to send another 100 point game to a new user (signed up July 3rd, not in Ontario) with 1 game received.  I have not accepted or rejected the trade yet, but I could go either way at this point.  Good thing I have 26 hours to think about it.  JerryG's point though applies to this trade, since the user's account name raises some suspicion and is one of the "no" reasons to not accept the trade.

Ha! This just happened to me today, down to the user being from Ontario. I already reported the guy because of this thread. The only mistake I made was that I denied the trade and now I'm in the back of the line.

Is this one guy in Ontario doing all this?

Lol I'm not regretting my decision to stick with the US only trading region, but if anyone ever asked me to ship to another address I would decline.
