Goozcast #14 desires your attention

Blackcoyote makes me laugh.  These two can do a 'cast about most anything, but having them interview an interest takes things to another level.

No, I'm sniffing a sharpie (red, which in my opinion smells the best, which is NOT the case with Expo 2 dry erase markers, in which case the black smells the best, red is ugh), and he still makes no sense. Everyone knows sharpies are more potent than glue. Honestly, I doubt anything less powerful than angeldust would help you make sense of DarkNeji, and I'm pretty sure it won't be anything important enough to warrant taking angeldust.

Side note, my nickname for one of my friend's is Ziggy Angeldust. See, his regular nickname is Viggy. Another one of my friends though Viggy sounded like a name for a drugdealer. Then I called him Ziggy, cuz I felt like it. He goes, Ziggy Stardust! Then I think, well hey, let's combine drug dealing Viggy with Ziggy Stardust, and we get Ziggy Angeldust.

My powers of veering topics completely off topic in the form of strange rants are not to be trifled with. I blame the sharpie. *sniff*

 one thing that bothered me about this episode was their talk about the movie service as a trump oevr the ps3.

idk if they are living under a rock or what, but the ps3 video rental and full movie download service came OUT at e3, its out NOW and you DONT have to pay a subscription to netflix. it also supports hd movies. considering the gaming nature of this podcast, i figure they should know very big news...

Because we choose to not recognize this as "very big" news doesnt mean we dont know about it. We were giving advice to lbaker about what she should get. She already has a blu-ray player. This was our opinion. 

  Microsoft's partnership with Netflix represents very good value for people who watch lots of content. For around $14 per month, users can view an unlimited number of movies or TV episodes, compared to no more than four or five views for the same cost with Sony, Apple or the majority of pay-TV providers. Sony is offering video for rental or purchase, with prices for rentals between $2.99 and $5.99, and purchased content costing from $9.99 to $14.99. In addition to netflix, xbox members already can download shows and movies at their leasure, so I dont know why this is sooo groundbreaking and why you think I live under a rock.

This is what I use to stream my movies from Netflix...not in HD though, so it looks like arse on my HD set.

Finally catching up on my podcast backlog.  I must say I did actually enjoy the Goozcast.  Maybe it's just me though, I don't think the girl gamers are shunned as much anymore as it was discussed on the Goozcast.  I play with a lot of female gamers, and on Pwned.com, there is a large amount on there as well.  Also there are many girl gamer dedicated web sites now.   Can't wait for the next one, maybe I can finally have the priviledge of corrupting the listeners.... xD

ZOMG that is so funny I geeked over 3 times because of this post. 1 once right after I scrolled it out of the screen..where the hell did you find this pic. that is a touche on the living under a rock "dig".

ok yeah about the show..it was a good interview. I'd probably wind up asking only way too personal questions that would make her uncomfortable and shifty eyed.

as for the Xbox live updates(not that I ever used xbox live or anything.) They sound pretty cool..I guess with the netflix,live party and avatar, features one could host movie nights on xbox live 360 with their favorite competitors that sounds like a good time.

as for playmate gameing...If they publish an issue with bunnies in cosplay, I'd definately go out of my way steal something like that! Maybe a gamezors "girlie" magazine might be next in the makings, that'd be pretty huge I think. If girls are gonna be a viable part of the gaming community then its only right for us guys to do a little something else that might be percieved to slow the whole "womens movement" thing back a pace, yknow just for balance sake, no?
