Great N64 Games?

Trust me, for all of its extra features, the original Mario 64 is still superior.  The controls are jumps and leaps better, and that's what originally made the game so fun.

Firstly i say i would recommend harvest moon 64 like someone else had mentioned and there was a southpark game that i cant remeber the name of but was real fun especially making yellow snowballs and throwing them at people.

Secondly i would recommend the PS version over the N64 edition of RE2 because thats originally how it was and cant be replaced, plus the N64 got it 2 years after the PS which if the PS took another two years to do it it would be like the GC version which if your looking for graphics is good. Then again if you have a 60gb PS3 and a nice 46 inch 1080p lcd with a nice surround sound system i'd say fire that bad boy up at 1-4 am and have no lights on and enjoy.

Super Mario 64 has got to be the best one I've played.

Then The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask.

and then Yoshi's Story.

.. I never actually played much outside of those games.

I would say the zeldas, kirby 64, golden eye, and mario 64, i also liked the megaman legends(i think it was called megaman 64 on the 64) but thats just my preference.....

Yoshi's Story is a sin upon gaming. It took the amazing gameplay of Yoshi's Island adn then spat and pissed all over it.

The 64 Smash Bros is still the best one in the series, IMO.

The latter ones just were unbalanced, with terrible items, terrible small busy stages, and were too floaty.

i don't know if anyone has mentioned it but ogre battle 64 is a must play for fans of strategy rpgs. one of my favorite games on the system.

I'd recommend Superman 64. This game had state-of-the-art graphics and amazing ring-flying mechanics!

Surprisingly, Spider Man. Its pretty sweet.

Rogue squadron, Shawdows of the empire, Zelda Ocarana of Time, Zelda Majoras Mask (this game reqiures an expansion port that p;lugs into the console, and can be a pain to find..) um... thats all I can think of right now... Mario Kart I guess.
