Goozex is releasing - starting today and for the following few days - a few updates to the Requests and Offers lists:
- Turns To Go: is replaced by Position, which tells how many other users are ahead of you in the queue, for a given game. The Position only accounts for Active requests or offers, and is calculated only in the trading region of the user.
- Seller timeout: offers that timeout during a 26-hour match period are now put On Hold. The seller can re-activate the offer at any time and relist it for trading (the queue position is preserved).
- Stats: for each game that you have in your Requests or Offers lists, there is a "stats" link that opens up a popup window. It shows extended statistics on the request/offer, without the need to go to the game's page for trading info.
ALREADY RELEASED:
- Confirm send: now sellers can confirm the actual shipment of a package and add any delivery confirmation or tracking number that may be available.
- My Stash: we have fixed a bug that prevented listing more than 20 games. Now the Stash list has unlimited length.
Everything looks cool so far, though my early morning brain has not noticed the stats link yet. Good job Zanna!
Thanks for the official update. Looking forward to all of the improvements/enhancements, and I too haven't seen the Stats update yet, but that sounds great.

It lists my position for NHL 08 as "12" but there are only 9 active offers. Any idea why that might be the case?

My usual crankiness has been quashed, as I really like the new improvements and changes.
The reason for the difference is that the list position (12) takes in consideration all Active requests ahead of you, in all countries that you have chosen in your trading region. However, not all of these 12 requests may "compete" against you if an offer becomes available, because it also depends on the countries selected by the seller: for example, if the seller does not trade with your country, you cannot be selected even if you have chosen his country in your trading region. Therefore the Position is the maximum number of active requests ahead of you in all countries you have selected, should all of these become available for trading with your country.
Conversely, the number in the Trading Info tab (9) is calculated precisely on your trading region and on your own country, that is it only takes in consideration requests that are made within your trading region by members that are available to trade with you. The keyword for the Trading Info tab is "you": all the numbers shown there are games available as requests or offers for YOU.
I hope this explains the difference. However, point taken in that we may need to find an easy/short way to explain this on the Requests/Offers pages too............
