Does anybody know how you could hook a large capacity hard drive  to the PS2???

Fat - You need the network adapter and a compatible hard drive that fits the network adapter.

There were a couple games (like 5 total) that it helped to reduce load times on, but other than that, it's just for flair. Of course I have it, since I gots to have the most tricked out PS2 on the block.

 EDIT: Just noticed the OP used the term "large capacity" which I'm assuming when asked about will involve the term "backing up". Whether you're going to back-up your old titles (which 95% of people don't need to do) or simply pirate them, you really shouldn't ask about it on forums like this where piracy is frowned upon.

MOD EDIT - Discussion of backups (even when not related to piracy) is against forum rules since it is still illegal.
