well i requested a game that was 100 points (bceause thats all i have) but a few hours later i got an email saying it went up to 150 because of demand or something.

will the game go back down in points eventually and how long does it take?

Game points are in constant fluctuation. It's just how the system works. Will it go down again? Well that's not for anyone to say. The points change based on a few things such as supply and demand. If it jumped up, it may be because of a recent jump in the amount of requests. It may go down, but the earliest it will do so is in about a week.

 From the FAQ:

Point values are calculated by a patented algorithm that takes in consideration multiple factors to match the current market value for each game. In addition to game specific factors (e.g. MSRP, age, genre, platform etc.), Goozex dynamically adapts prices depending on supply and demand for each game. This makes sure that if you offer a game that is highly requested, you earn a higher value for it. Point values range from 100 to 1000, with the most popular and newest titles near the 1000 point range.

Actually, they just roll a 6-sided die each week for every game.  1-2 points go down 50, 3-4 points remain the same, 5-6 points go up 50.  It's just mere coincidence that most of the point values happen to be dead on what people will be willing to trade the games for.   (Couldn't help it... weird sense of humor Wink )

I recieved a game early because of a 50pt reduction. So it works both ways it seems. There are a few games I'd like to see a bit less, but I'll wait it out.

I am not a number, I am a free man.
