Hey everyone,
First, let me start by saying this really isn't a contest, but it can turn into a voting thing later if we all decide.
As many of you know, we have a new version of our signature out there that we can customize skins and place on them. I wanted to start a thread and invite you all to submit your Goozex signature skin. It can be on anything you'd like and just has to follow certain rules including the following:
1. 468x90 pixels
2. JPEG or PNG format (24 bit RGB)
3. Make sure to follow the signature placeholders (see templates attached) for avatar, games, and texts. It must also allow a "Goozex.com" text in the bottom-right corner
4. Official rules of submitting content to Goozex here -- the legal stuff
5. The current version of the signature is V.3.0: supports user-selected list of games, text colors, possibility to disable avatar, a smaller size avatar, free text on the signature.
If your skin gets selected by the Goozex Team, it will be added to the "skin collection" for the new signature V.3.0. Participation is voluntary and no compensation will be awarded by Goozex.

It contains the following files:
- Design templates for the signature, with placeholders for all the elements (avatar, games, texts, etc)
- Examples
- Instructions
- Skins: the user has the option to select the favorite skin in a pool of available images.
- Avatar: the user has the option to disable the avatar. This frees up space on the left, to be used for some cool image in the skin
- Text color: default color is white (#ffffff). Users have the option to select their favorite color in a given set (e.g, black (#000000), red (#ff0000), blue (#0000ff), green (#00ff00) and a few others. This way, the text may better adapt to a colored skin in the background.
How to use the template
When you download the zip template package (click here) you will see a few different files. Some ore examples, others are PSD layered templates that are useful to tell you the position of each signature element.
Please read the Readme-HowToUseTemplates.txt file included in the .zip set for more info on how to use the template.
Example of posting:
When posting a new skin design please remember to post both:
- The plain skin image
- The skin image with added "sample content" on it, to evaluate how the final signature will look like
This will immediately show if the text is difficult to read, and give you a chance to redesign the skin before posting it on Goozex.

This is awesome. Too bad that I don't have photoshopping skillz. Anyhow, my nefarious mind noticed that all things offensive or explicitly sexual has not been officially excluded from any contest. Yippee. Just teasing, of course.

Consider this a rough draft of one I'm making now. I actually made a full scale image of this theme a few years ago, but this seems a good time to revive it. I'll see about tweaking it a little better Wednesday sometime.

Another idea for a Goozex-themed skin....
This is how it would look like with sig content:
Wicked cool. This will really allow for each of us to show quite a bit more personality.
The submission deadline for new signature Skins for version 3.0 is approaching!! (The deadline is Dec 8th)
If you wish to submit a custom skin, or just one with your favorite game theme, this is the opportunity to do that!
If you have some ideas on a new skin but don't know how to make it, share on the forum and some other member will be happy to create one for you!
Man, if I had Photoshop, I'd be showing you guys some of the things I can create. I'm pretty skilled in this kind of thing.
