Why do people trade away sealed games?

Then again, I think I may have seen ONE 7-11 in my entire life...though I question even that sighting.  Only in lore do they exist!

I'd like to update the community in that I did see a 7-11 finally...in fact, the same day I wrote that!  I was going to stop and take a picture, but we had our big TV purchase in the back, and it trumped '7-11 picture' quite easily.

Yeah, I have a WaWa and 7-11 right next to eachother.  If you have a WaWa near you, get their Bacon-Egg-Cheese breakfast sandwiches.  They're the best ever made.

I love WaWa's, but there aren't any near me.  We have a 7-11 on every freaking corner though.  We do have a Sheetz fairly close by, which is almost as good as WaWa's.

I just shipped out a brand new copy of Little Big Planet.  Got 2 copies for $65, so i flipped one here for 1000 pts.  Didn't get a tip though...lol.

I'd bet way less than 50% tip for this.     I think I've sent out 9 sealed games, and I've gotten 3 tips for it.       A few of them don't even leave a comment.     I get everything out next day too and I rarely get fast shipping comments either - a sealed copy arrived 3 days after I matched the guy and not even a nice comment.       Oh well, gamers are more rude than average.

Guy that I matched for SFIV Xbox said he was moving Friday and requested I get it out next day, responded back not to worry I always do.       Looks like that'll make it there tomorrow, made it to a sort center in his state at 1 AM this morning.    We'll see if I get a nice comment at least.

I've sent out a few brand new games myself, but I opened them...lol.  As a new trader, I wanted to make sure they worked.

I guess I should have left them sealed...lol.

7-11s are all over the north east but in most parts of the country they were bought out by "come and go" which spells a certain word in a way that would get me modded. but it is my understanding that the stores are the same and do all of the same stuff. wawa is another chain that we have here that is pretty much a 7-11 but lets you order fresh sandwiches made to order and actually has fresh coffee 24-7. some of their stores sell games but it is always a rack of GBA and DS shovelware.

a weird off topic aside on the topic of convenience stores is that here in baltimore we have a local chain called "royal farms" that everybody seems to refer to as "the farm store". so "farm store" is a local term for convenience store. more than once i have been in another city and asked people for directions to the nearest "farm store" without thinking about it only to be met with a blank expression and confused response. after which i spent a few minutes wondering how the local i asked had no clue where to buy coffee and cigarettes before i remembered that i wasn't in baltimore and the person i just asked was probably still asking themselves why some rube was asking them where they could buy chicken feed in the middle of brooklyn.

Sometimes I'll see something selling for below its value and buy it to trade on Goozex.  Maybe there's a good sale at one store to buy a 1000 point game for $20.  That way someone gets a game they've been waiting for and I get my points cheaper than $50 for 1000.
