Guitar Hero 4 - But then again I bought the whole band kit.

If not then, The Sims 3 and NHL 09 the year before that lol. I rarely buy anything at full price. Too many sales nowadays and Goozex is a major money saver.

Borderlands, Dragon Age, and pre-ordered L4D2.  If I use Walmart's deal for 360 and gift card, I may use that for MW2.  Otherwise, I don't think I'll be buying any more games until Bioshock 2.  Anything else I can wait for on here.

I just bought Borderlands for $54 bucks and Civ Revolution for $26, so technially neither of those are full price. I think the last game I've paid $60+ for was Halo 3 on release night. I'm getting MW2, but that is going to be $20 after the credit.

Quake 4 (PC) was the last game I paid full price for, not counting budget titles.

To be honest I've been thinking about this for about a day and just can't come up with what the last game I paid FULL retail for was.  I mean just got Dragon Age from Amazon but after the Amazon price drop of $5 and the ECA 10% discount I can't really consider it FULL price.

It's been a good 2-3 years since I paid FULL right off the shelf price for any games.  I doubt I'll be doing it anytime soon either.  It's just too easy to find deals these days.

Prior to that, Death Smiles which April or May of this year, And Raiden Fighter Aces came out around the same time which I gladly paided full price for.

NHL 10 (360) for $59.99 on release day back in September.  One of the few games worth every penny of that god awful retail price.

Wow, quite some time ago. I think last year for Gears of War 2, when Canadian game prices were still $59.99. Once they jacked up the price by $10, I just stopped paying full price for games. Now they seem be going back down. So many games seem to be going on sale (example, Borderlands, Batman for $39, and MW2 for $49) I doubt, by the end of this year, that I'll have bought any game at retail price.

Games are too expensive, and overpriced DLC doesn't help either.

Man it took me  a while to figure this out.  I hardly buy anything at full price these days.  I did get six games over the best buy and toys r us buy 2 get 1 free...I guess I technically paid full price for four of those games but I like to think I only paid $40 each.  For some reason it seems better to me to get 3 games for $40 each instead of 2 games and full price and one free.  I'm not sure why my mind likes that better but it does....odd.  Anybody else like that?

I guess the last game I bought full price was Devil Survivor when I preordered it from amazon.  Come to think of it the only games I buy and full price (or close to full price if I preorder and there is a discount) are Atlus games.  Before Devil Survior it was Knights in the Nightmare, Persona 4, Luminous Arc 2, Etrian Oddyssey 2, and FES.  Atlus games make me happy, especially when they include art books and sound tracks. :)

I paid $120.99 for the Limited Edition of Tekken 6.  Technically, it wasn't full price after coupons and the like, but it's close enough.

Did anyone notice this thread was first made back in 2007, and the only reason it was revived was to ask about the opinion on a game someone else had said they bought?

Anyways, last game I paid retail for was My Japanese Coach for the DS, which was only $40. Last game I paid a full $60 for (though I don't remember if back then games cost this much) was WWF No Mercy, which I played the stuffing out of.
