Both Final Fantasy VIII and IX for the PS1 seem to have consistently held much lower prices here (200-300 points average) than seems reasonable based on the average sale price on sites like Amazon or eBay (generally from $20-40).

Thanks for the advice, Goomba.  Overall I'm pretty satisfied with this.  Not all of my suggestions were used, but a good number of them were.  I think I'll save trying a few again until you have that new version of the uploader you mentioned ready.  As of now I'd just be putting a double on the list.

Sounds good. Yeah it'll be about two weeks probably before I have the new version (updated one) up and running. I'm going on vacation next week for 4-5 days to Maryland/Washington DC so I will be close to the Goozex Headquarters but won't have much access to the Internet aside from my iPhone 3G :)

a lot of these have probably been mentioned before, maybe by me even, but many ps1 games especially the rarer rpg are so grossly undervalued here that they will never be traded. I have half a list of requested games I will never see because no one wants to let a 40+ dollar game go for 200 or so points which is basically giving them away. I know goozex is geared around newer stuff but a lot of us want to trade and get these games. a lot of these games have huge request lines and lots of on hold offers.  these are just the ones from my list, i am sure there are more i havent thought of yet.

Azure Dreams - 200   online price is usually over 20-25+

Breath of Fire 3 - 200    usually around 30+

Breath of Fire 4 - 200    online around 35+

Dragon Warrior 7 - 200    online 35-40+

Grandia - 200       online 25-30+

Klonoa: Door to Phantomile - 200     this should be a 900-1000 point game like Tomba, its RARE and expensive online.  45-50+

Koudelka  - 200     online 25+

Lunar SSSC 2 disc - 200     I think the stats said its been traded only once here! online 35+

Parasite Eve 1 - 200     online 25+30

Parasite Eve 2 - 200   online 25-30

Persona 2 - 600    this one is a little better, but this can still fetch 50 online in good shape or 80 dollars in mint condition online, should probably be more like 850-1000

Vandal Hearts 1 - 200      online 20-25+

Vandal Hearts 2 - 200     online 25+

Wild Arms 2 - 200       online 20+ (this isnt TOO far off but its still a little low, 350 maybe is where it should be)

very few traders are willing to let these items go for half of or in some cases less than half of their value.

Where do you see  FF 8  selling for  20 to 40 bucks. I see tons of them listed not  selling on ebay for  13

WOW  those breath of fire games really jumped in price

LOL what the #$#$#$ is up with this game. I was just reprinted a few years back and  was lucky to get sold at 20 bucks Sealed...  Glad i never sold off my  3  sealed copies .... maybe the persona  for the ps2   made people want the older ones....  runs to  back room to see what i have

Chocobo's Dungeon 2 for the PS should be about 350-400 points, the complete game starts at $40 at Amazon.com and starts at $30 on Ebay.com (buy it now price).

Boogie costs $10, and Brain Age 1 & 2 cost $15 at Wal-Mart here in Toronto.

Just noticed Grand Theft Auto (Collector's Edition) for the PS1 is 100 points, it should be 250-300 points IMO because it is three games, like three 100 pt games in one package.

yes slidecage that happens a lot, and game will get reprinted and drop to nothing and then eventually it will come back. i sold one of those persona 2 sealed for 110.00 on ebay a month or two ago, so if you still have some you are looking at some sweet cash.  an opened mint one can also get you 80.00 (which i know cause i just sold one of those too!)

i wish i had the money to buy more rpgs when they are newer and you can get them sealed pretty cheap and then hold them for a few years, a black label sealed final fantasy X can get you over 115!  it wasnt rare at all, but a sealed one nowadays is. 

i can remember when sears and kmart were clearing out all their ps1 games, sealed suikoden 2, star ocean second story, vandal hearts, thousand arms, all the ps1 final fantasy titles, who knew there were thousands of dollars worth of games there waiting to be bought for next to nothing? i need a time machine!

I don't think they should have dropped the price of Lost Odyssey (360) down to 950. There are 56 people ready to trade requesting this and nobody offering it.  This should really stay at 1000 until the supply and demand evens out.

Yeah you act like that's the only game the suffers from this. Every week prices go down on lots of games that are low in supply and high in demand and vice versa.

People can say "But there are 15 trades going on!" but then I say, well there are still 56 active requests and 172 active requests compared to the 2 active available and 0 ready. To me that still screams low in supply anyway you slice it.

 Gundam Encounters in space should be more than 100 point, its fairly rare and its 14.99 at gamestop. I think 250 would be appropriate. traded zero times 7 people in q

Robot alchemic drive has been traded zero times and 16 people are waiting for it I think it should be around 400 points its at least 20 on ebay i think

Metal gear solid twin snakes is grossly underpriced it goes for around 50 bucks on ebay so 850-1000 somewhere in there.

Tsukihime should be 1000 or greater its value is easily greater than $100 dollers. not like anyone would realistically trade it here anyway...

Kanon could be 750 points minimum for pc verision(proublby other versions too) 35 bucks on himeya shop. again not really expecting anyone to put it up here but oh well i'd pay 1000 points easy for it.

Also though remeber that lost odyssey for the 360 has been out for quite a while and 950 is better than some newer ones.
