That's one of the bigger problems with Goozex.  Some games will just constantly flip between two different values, like 650 and 700 like you just mentioned.  The problem is those games seem to NEVER stop flipping up and down like that, even if the price if grossly off of what it should be, even if the game has almost no demand.

Anyway, I threw a bevy of suggestions on the suggestions form.  I'd be willing to help out like I mentioned, even if it's just helping the make the page a bit prettier.

if a  game cost   say  40 bucks then the pts should be  700 or 750  tops.

if  100 pts = 5 bucks say.  I would  NEVER pay  800 pts for a  40 buck game  on this site  where i have no clue  of the shape of the game (or if i will even get the box or book) 

If i wanted to spend 40 real bucks i would buy it off  Gamestop   ...at least i can see the shape of the game  before buying it.

I think Fire Pro Wrestling Returns for the PS2 should be at least 300 instead of 150, its less than a year old, despite its graphics being pixelly, the gameplay is the best of any game of seen in years.

i picked them up last year for  4 bucks each  via   amazon. would love to dump them all at 300 pts each : )

I also think Resident Evil 3 Nemesis should be brought down, its a really crappy game.

It is interesting to me that Crysis is at 750 points with all offers, no requests ... while Crysis Warhead (just released) is only at 600 points.  But then I checked a couple places and found that Crysis is holding at ~$40 while Warhead was released at $30.

That's a good point, but Goozex games to my knowledge are usually in pretty good condition.

I have always been thrilled at the condition ... but I know I haven't played my copy of Crysis more than 2 times since it came out so if I could get decent points I would trade my Warhead in a few days when I finish and re-buy for cheap later on.  But at 600 points I'm not sure it is worth it.

(same for PSP copies of TFU and Yggdra Union)

this site is based on availability and demand right? it doesnt matter if the game is old. points should be based on suply and demand.

It's a brand new game. It should be 1000 points or at least 900. I really want to get it, but nobody is selling it because it's such a low price right now.

As long as you can use the old Rock Band peripherals, I see no reason it should be any less than 1000 points.

Brothers in Arms should be 200 points rather than 250, its just ok and is getting older.

Game values can fluctuate by 50 points every week, so unless values are way off the market price (usually by several hundred points) it's very unlikely that they'll be manually changed by Goozex.  If you're unhappy with the current Goozex value of a game in the future, you can wait until it goes up, or try and sell it on one of the many other sites when you can set your own price.

Sadly, percieved gameplay value does not affect the point value of a game...
