Either buying bubble mailers in bulk or reusing ones from stuff sent you is a good way to save money.
You could always take those 100 pt games to Gamestop and get a dime for them.

I've never spent more than $2.43 with delivery confirmation (via PayPal). I love 100 point games, it's all that I really request right now because I feel like I'm getting the best bang for my buck. I only spend more points on games I really want but if it's a game that I just wanna try out while my next wanted game moves up in the queue, a 100 point game is the way to go.
I was actually thinking it'd be cool if Goozex allowed 50 point games. Yes, that may be scraping the bottom of the barrel, but it'll move some of the older crappy sports titles with 100's of people offering it. If anything, for 50 point games, Goozex could just only allow "disc only" games to be traded thus making shipping less then $2 ($1.50ish). Sellers will profit about $0.50 to a $1 for older games they'd only get $0.10 for at Gamestop. Send out two of these 50 point games and you're good to request a 100 point game!
Haha.. probably will never get implemented, but I always thought this would be super cool for us super thrifty Goozers.
i just noticed this thread and maybe im a fool but i dont uderstand! some one requests a 100 pt game from cali and im from ny, it costs me $3.50 to ship and 85cents for mailer after tax so thats $4.35 for trade! why wouldnt i just keep the game and spend the extra 65cents and buy the points from gooz for alot less hassle?? im not here to make money! im a gamer and like the trade idea! but it just makes no sense to me! if anything gooze schould add 50 more points to the game value then it would be better trade i guess!! game on gamers!
Every single shipped game I've gotten from the US on has been marked with shipping less than 3 dollars. I don't know how you are spending so much.

You're welcome!
i run a flea market booth and the way i see it is if i can send out a madden 07 for $5 which i can barely get $2 for at the stand and get a copy of San Andreas which is in high demand and pulls $17 then shoot yeah i will send out a ton of 100 pointers. madden was just an example but now with the addition of old school games that have little value on the booth but seem to trade fairly often so it is definitely worth it for me.
magiic: I feel the goozex points have a good value and the 100 points is better than what you'd get at GS/EB most of the time. In my case a 100 point game costs $2 to mail and $0.30 for the mailer.

Exactly this. Plus you're making someone happy that wants that game.
Actually, as many find, since you can't cash out points, points are worth much less than cash. The reason why Goozex charges around 2400 points to buy the game on the spot. And arcade games for $40.00 of goozex points? That's unheard of. Same with DLC.
ThreeIfByAir: Using PayPal shipping, most games can be shipped with delivery confirmation for $2 (give or take) and I usually have a spare bubble mailer around that I can re-use. If I received a game via Goozex, I paid an additional $1 for the privilege (though not this month!) That makes it an overall 'game rental fee' of $3 or so. For games with a higher point value, you also take the risk that the point value may drop in the intervening time, but for 100 point games, you don't have that risk. Either way, I'll take a $3 rental that I can keep as long as I like over a $7.95 rental from Blockbuster that has to be back with them in a week and a half. Oh, and I've stocked up on 100-point games this month...

PAYPAL 3oz. is $1.75 and 4oz is $1.92.
usually these r the weight of most Wii, 360, and ps3 games.

I don't think so. I weigh all my games in the envelope before I pay for the shipping label and it's always 5 or 6 oz. You must not be sending the case or instruction manual or something.
I would like to get those 100 or 200 point gamerscore giveaways and then rent them out to friends.

PSP and DS are closer to 4 oz though.
I concur but there's some Wii, 360 and PS3 games that weigh 4oz like most EA games, their manuals are just few pages.
this is why they spilled milk on the roads during the Great Depression.
