I admit I am fairly new myself.  I just joined with that free credit deal in December but I have been very active and have been trading nonstop since then and have built up some good feedback, but it seems almost every time I get selected for a match recently its the same person with 0 feedback and no responses.  I put my game back in the queue a few days later or a week later just to see the same exact person requesting the same game.  90% of the time I check goozex it is people with 0 feedback and who don't respond to pm's asking for the same games.  There needs to be some fix to this by either being able to filter out people with 0 feedback or require people to sell a few games first before being able to buy them.

I feel your pain. The mass exposure brought by the recent promotion brought in many new users that aren't here to stay. It also, however, brought in people like the two of us.

If you are having problems with a new user not responding to your matched game, just accept the trade and send it with Delivery Confimation. You get your points and the DC will make sure you get your positive feedback.

Totally with you guys.. I joined a few months ago, and built up decent feedback to where I am able to send 5 games out. Well all 5 slots are used up, sending all100 point games to people with 0 feedback. I'm going to have to wait 3 weeks before I can even trade again.

 How ridiculous.

That is not necessarily true.  A great number, in fact the majority of noobs, are honest traders....who will become yet another trusted and reliable Goozex game trader.  Have faith.  There is no need to be discouraged until the need arises one to be so.

Yea, it sucks to have your request slots taken up. But after a few more trades, when your feedback increases, so shall your request slots. I don't mind noobs, I just hope they become a valued member of the community like yourself and otherse. Like lurk said, have faith in people, not all are here for freebies. ^__^

Just accept the trade, send the game First Class with delivery confirmation, and you should be good. If any problems arises Goozex are fast to help if they aren't swamped. I have had no problems when the Goozex staff is invovled. Welcome and good luck. ^__^

I've had VERY good luck with new members over this period.  I've had a few I've sent out that didn't get feedback, but overall I was very pleased with the new members I've done business with here.

Well there is one advantage to them all. I would never have though I could get rid of so many worthless games for 100 points. I am grateful I was able to do it so quickly. That almost offsets the fact that they don't leave feedback for 3 weeks. Almost, but not quite

Well I am up to the point where I can have 5 trades at once, but the different persons with 0 feedback are at the front of the line for different games and they bounce around between various users who don't want to risk trading with someone with 0 feedback.  I really don't want all 5 feedback slots filled up for 3 weeks, I have plenty of games to sell! Including FF7 and FF8 for the PC but goozex doesn't have them listed yet!

I have three games that I sent 2 weeks ago, no feedback no nothing....... granted I don't consider myself any kind of veteran i only have 3 in 3 out, but how hard is it to click report feedback, I couldnt care less about the points I just want to free up a slot so I can send a game to someone who will take 15 seconds to credit me for my game.

When I say noobs i mean 0 feedback total.  For example I just had a guy today asking for a game with 0 feedback.  I look and he has received one game (the same game he was requesting from me) and he gave the user negative feedback.

I admit i originally joined to get the free 100 point game but upon looking around the site i actually really liked wat i saw and i ended up listing some of my old games and i just sent one in the mail yesterday. I am glad i came upon this site and hope to be here for a long time to come. :D

I hate to assume anything, but given that the noob that you matched with gave a negative for the same game he is requesting from you...would probably indicate that the previous trade did not go well, so your trade request is most likely a legitimate one.  Again, just rationalizing the situation.

I've had pretty good luck with the noobs in terms of receiving games from them. As for leaving feedback, a number of them I've sent PM's to asking if they received the game-most of them did leave feedback at that point.

I joined from the same promotion, but puleeeeeeeeeese do NOT assume that all the new peole joining have the same gaming experience you and I and all the veteran G members do.

Why not try to be patient and understanding and make an effort to welcome them to communty instead of condemning them.

You got a FREE game, I got a FREE game and all these 'n00bs' got a FREE game.

Instead of disparaging why not try embracing all the extra new customers available to sell to?
